Hali brings them all to the cave, she dives in heads first to search the cave as the others gag on the smell of troll. Throin and Gandalf are close behind her, she takes note of a stand with swords in them all of which look to long for the short young hobbit in their company she moves on before something else catches her eyes down in the leaves silver shines through. Moving the leaves she finds a small silver chest opening she finds what looks to her to be a Greek tiara, a Grecian armband, a gambling heads or tails Medusa coin and flower opal iron earrings.
She puts the box in her satchel before making her away outside the active waiting for the others to join her. Thorin, Gandalf and Bilbo all join the group with new swords. The company talk among themselves about what to do next when the rushing of leaves and the sound of pattering paws stamp the ground the all quickly stand forming a circle around the small hobbit and demigod who had been to lazy to move from her sun bathing of a large bolder.
"FIRE, THEIVES, MURDER" the a strange brown wizard shouts before parking his slay of rabbits right in front of Gandalf. " Radagast the Brown what are you doing here" Gandalf looks dishevelled at the shorter wizard he moves him away from the weary group of dwarves. Soon a howl echoes in the distance, "was that a wolf" Bilbo quivers and shakes. "Now that was no wolf" Bofur answers before wargs jumps over the bushes behind him and before it can take a bite out of anyone Kili shoots an arrow at it and Thorin slashes the other one in the head with his new elvish blade.
"WHO DID YOU TELL" Gandalf turns swiftly shouting at Thorin, "Who did you tell beyond your kin" he asks again "I told no one i swear, what is going on" Thorin says stiffly. " Cause it seems like you've put us on one of your enemies hit list my liege" Hali mutters sourly " the ponies have bolted we have no way out" Nori whimpers until Radagast offers to run them the other way so that the dwarves can make a run for it. " These are rhosgobel rabbits I'd like to see them try" he takes off cackling like a mad man.
Gandalf leads them off through the plains they hide behind some of the large rocks along the way, Hali took the back of the pack because she also knew where they were headed. A warg and rider come and stand atop the rock their all hiding behind when Thorin signals Kili to kill it with his bow but this only draws more attention to them and the advantage Radagast had given them is gone. They all take off before they are surrounded and Gandalf seems to have disappeared again, Thorin makes the circle in each ready to fight those who would put themselves in the way of their quest to return to their mountain home. "This way you fools" Gandalf hisses popping his head over a jag toothed rock before once again falling behind it. Thorin makes each dwarf go one at a time so that others could cover them, now standing before the hunting pack of orcs and their beasts are the king his younger nephew and the demigod, "Thorin Kili go get to the rock" she shoves the young dwarf in the direction of his uncle as she stands firm with her sword in hand ready for the advancing black hearted beasts. A horn sounds over the hills and Hali takes off for the company in the hidden passage.
The group walk through the rock carved tunnels from the cave in the open plains before they stop to stare at the shining marble city of the last homely house of Elves east of the sea. "Welcome to Imladris, I spent a good couple years here when I first arrived in Middle Earth" Hali chuckles as she takes a sprinting start down the rocky hill side. She jumps from side to side making the journey down easier on her legs as she takes off through the front gates, the company trails in behind her. "Lindr my old friend" she giggles as she greets the stoic looking elf.
She watches the dwarves look upon the fair city with suspicion and disdain, it did little to lighten the ache in her heart for these two races to ever be allies again in this age but she would try her hardest while they were here to show them all elves are not the same as that of the woodland sprite king of the Greenwoods that boarder west of ruin city of Dale.
"where is Lord Elrond I must speak with him" Gandalf questions the adviser, "milord Elrond is not here" he states calmly and Hali puts her hand over her mouth so as to not giggle out loud at the face of confusion on the wizards face as he sputters complains before the sounding horns of the returning hunting party rings off the boardering high rock walls. The dwarves form a kill circle weapons raised around the hobbit, Hali looks at them in displeasure at their rude behaviour towards someone who would help them regardless of where they were heading she knew he would.
" Not so often do the orcs come so close to our boarders" Elrond chuckles as he gets down from his horse, "that may have been us I fear" Gandalf says greeting his old friend, "it was definitely us Gandalf do not play it for something it was not" Hali says before hugging the elf lord and than again standing in front of the company " Thorin son of Thrain, you have your grandfathers barings" Elrond welcomes him but he is inly dark in his return of addressing the elf " he made no mention of you" his arms folded over his chest. Hali gives him a good wack in the shoulder, "you are shown good fortune and than throw it back into the face of our host. Forgive me the stubbornness of dwarves to hold a grudge Gods give me the strength to have a leveled head with these harty fools" she mutters as they are all shown inside and to sleeping quarters herself heading off to her old room to change for dinner and enjoy a hot bath.
Her traveling clothes are taken to be washed as she changes into a dress, putting on the jewelry she found in the silver box. She walks with grace into the dining pavilion seeing as she is the last to arrive she waits under the arch. The dwarves look up, the younger one stare with dropped jaws while the older ones just smile than Gandalf and Elrond turn to see her, "What a lady can never be over dressed for dinner when there is nobility and royalty to tend to now is there" she drops in a low curtsy to the high table before finding her own seat within the table. "You look well dear" Elrond compliments her as she is seated between him and Thorin.
Dinner is enjoyed though a little rough like its company in such pristine halls but the dwarves had enjoyed their fun. After dinner Hali goes back to her room again to change into some of her comfy 21st century pj's which just consisted of a cropped Harvard sweater and loose velvet booty shorts, once changed she goes off to find the rabel of dwarves. Finding them on one of the lower balconies with meats cooking over a fire she really didn't want to know what they had started it from and kept going. "evening boys, playing to party without me eh" she jokes as they all quickly turn at the sound of her voice.
All the while under the falls Elrond reads the hidden moon runes on the map to Gandalf, Thorin, Balin and Bilbo. Elrond looks to Gandalf with distaste for the real reason in which this company has passed through his boarders and in which they will most likely cause more trouble than it was worth for all that gold in Erebor but it was a birthright he could not stop for it had been shown to him many moons before it's fall that it would be so but never was he shown the young goddess. How would that change things for the line of Durin? Would all of them survive the mountain? Would Thorin become King? There was so many unanswered questions to this elf and he too would have to wait and see. If Thorin made it to be king things would fall a much different way. Both for the men of Dale and the Elves of Greenwood.
By the rising of dawn the company has made it over the rock wall and walk through the paths to the misty mountains. Hali leads them through the winding paths out of the elven city before Balin leads on towards the mountains. Gandalf had stayed behind to attend the white council with the Lady of Light, Saurman the white and Lord Elrond.
