With the elven kings agreement to fight beside the dwarves and man of the lake Hali returned to him the necklace of Starlight the his passed wife used to wear. Hali and Bilbo take their leave of the council to sleep and eat. "Bilbo you should not return to the mountain but I must for I have a greater role in this then even the dwarves pictured" Hali smiles sadly at the halfling. She took off into the night back to the mountain where she would wait to see the outcome of the alliance she made with the promise of returned jewelry.

The king stares down at the elf king and Bard, "We would like to tell the King his payment has been accepted" bard says, "What payment I have given you nothing Thorin hisses. Bard withdraws the Arkenstone from his coat holding it up for all to see, Hali flinches at the angered shouts from the dwarves, "Now we must know will the king have peace or war" Thranduil asks

"I will have war" Thorin growls and just over the crest of the next hill a Dwarven army appears with Throin's cousin Dain leading the charge. " I HAVE A WEE PROPERSITION FOR YOU ALL WOULD YOU MIND JUST PISSING OFF" Dain hollers from his war hog at the top of the hill.

"We cannot sit here like cowards while those of your blood and the innocence from laketown are killed because you became a selfish king how forgot how to care for his people" Hali wails from the stairs near the battlements. The company nod in agreement with the goddess. Kili steps up to uncle hissings something in his face, "no you are right my nephew it's not in our blood to sit and do nothing when there is a fight to be won" Thorin responds, the company cheer as Thorin hugs his sister's sons. Hali walks up to them pulling out of her pocket the three Persephone Pearls.

"Should anyone of you three find yourselves in trouble without back up crush these and think of me, they will transport you to where ever I am on the battle field. After all we must see Thorin crowned King under the Mountain with his heirs at his side." she giggles with watery eyes.

With that the dwarves throw off the heavy armour and sling shot the tower bell into the wall the built on Thorin's dragon sickness order and joined the fray of dwarven fighters, when Dain say him her rallied his men to gather around their king and kill the beasts from hell.

Bilbo spots the group, "Gandalf where are they going?" The halfling looks up at the wizard, "He's taking his best warriors to cut off the head of a snake" Gandalf spits out the last word venomously. "But it's a trap someone's got to warn them" Bilbo cries as everything turns to chaos he choose to follow Thorin up to ravens hill to warn them before it's too late to save them.

Balin drives the war ram war machine, Dwalin handling the automatic crossbow with Kili firing arrows from his bow, "aim for it's yambags!" Dwalin shouts back at the younger dwarf who's shooting at a troll. "It doesn't have any yambags" Kili cries back.

On a sharp rock one of the wheels clips breaking down Balin ushers the other four to ride the rams up the rest of the way and leave his old bones to deal with the troll. Hali surfs her own waves up the side of the mountain following the dwarves to fight the pale orc and his horde.

Throin splits their party in half once they reach ravens hill telling his nephews to take the watch tower and should they spot any trouble to come back to the group.  Hali sticks close to Thorin along with Dwalin as a horde of goblins come rushing over the ruins. Soon enough they hear Bilbo scream out to them, "IT'S A TRAP!! We have to leave!" He cries in worry. Hali had been swept away by the rushing horde and could no longer see her dwarven companions.

She hears screams and it drives a fearful knife into her heart as she tries to find her friends. She reaches the base of the tower where she had left them only to see the bodies of the goblins.
