You looked between the two closed doors. You were happy to have found Lena and Kara but you didn't feel comfortable with the sudden attention that the two of them gave you. All your life, your parents barely paid any attention and the only time that they did was to hurt you for things that weren't even your fault. Living in an environment that was the complete opposite of what you were used to was difficult. You were only just waiting for the other shoe to drop but it never did. It was confusing and as much as you struggled to pretend to be happy for them and your sister, you couldn't. You felt broken and you knew that you couldn't be the perfect daughter that you sister was giving them. So you packed what little belongings you had at night and left the apartment that you had been staying since you had been released from the hospital.

"Mom! Mommy! (y/n) is gone!)
(sister's name) had woken up and as always, she went to your bedroom to get ready for you but she had found your bed empty. Scared about what might have happened to you, she ran to your parent's bedroom.
Lena and Kara are immediately out of bed. Lena wraps (sister's name) into a hug while Kara dials everyone to help search for you.
"You aunts, uncles and mom are going out to search for (y/n). In the meantime, why don't we make some pancakes for when they bring her back."
(sister's name) stops crying and grins widely.
"Her favorite are (pancake flavor). Could we make them?"
"But of course, sweetie. Lets leave mommy alone so she can get ready."
Lena gives Kara a silent reassuring smile and leaves with (sister's name) to the kitchen. She was worried about you but she knew that Kara would bring you home. Right now, she had to focus on (sister's name).

"Kara, we found her."
"What?! Where is she? I'm coming!"
"Wait, Kara. I think you should wait." Alex looks out the window of the SUV to find Kelly talking to you. She was glad that Kelly had insisted on coming. Alex was good with combat but not with words. "Kelly is talking to her. Just give us a few minutes. Why don't you head back to Lena and wait for us. I'll promise to bring her home."
Kara wanted to call Brainy so he could tell her where they were but she stopped herself. She trusted Alex and if she said that she needed to wait, she will.
"Thank you, Alex."

You felt a lot better after your talk with Kelly.
"Now why don't we take you back home. Kara and Lena are waiting for us to bring you back."
Kelly stands up and holds out her hand for you to take. You want to reach for it to come with her but you can't find yourself to do so.
"What if they hate me for spitting on their kindness?"
"Kara and Lena hate you? They could never. They love you and your sister. No doubt that they're worried out of their minds about you. Talk to them and I can promise that they'll help ease your fears. You can always come talk to me"
You give her a small smile and take her hand to follow her to the black SUV that she had come out.

The three of them yell in unison as they see you. As you get to the kitchen, Kara and Lena give you a tight hug. You can't help but smile when you feel your sister's hands wrap around your head as Lena had been carrying her.
"We were so scared. Please don't do that again."
Kara mumbles to you.
"We love you, (y/n). You can always come talk to us when something is wrong."
Lena adds. The three of them release you, taking notice that you had started to cry.
"I-I'm sorry."
Kara wraps you up in another hug, lifting you up as she does so.
"It's okay, (y/n). What matters is that you're safe and back home."
"Yeah! You're home now! We made you your favorite pancakes!"
You turned to look down at the stack of pancakes that Lena had made for you.
"Quick, (y/n)! Eat them before Kara gets ahold of them."
Alex teases Kara.
"Hey! I'll have you know that I'm not going to let my kids starve."
Lena rolls her eyes at their antics and leans in to kiss Kara's cheek.
"Just to be sure, I made you your own stack."
You just laugh when you see how red Kara had gotten. This was your new family now and you were grateful that Lena and Kara had taken you and your sister.
