You tugged on your mom's arm, trying to get her attention as she continued ignoring you. All you wanted was for some cotton candy but she was ignoring you.
"Moooom. I want some cotton candy."
"In a sec, hun. I'm just looking for something. Just be patient and I'll get it for you."
You groaned loudly but do as you're told. She hated when you disobeyed and wouldn't end up buying you anything if you didn't listen to her. Such a long time goes by and you still haven't gotten your cotton candy. Not wanting to wait any longer, you take your hand off of her and rush to the stand.
"(y/n)! Get back here! I'm not getting you that cotton candy!"
Kelly tried to grab on to your arm but you were far too quick.

Alex sighed as she searched for Kelly. The two of them were supposed to meet for the first time at the amusement park near the Ferris wheel but she wasn't anywhere to be seen. Just as she's about to call Kelly, she hears her voice. Looking up, she finds that Kelly was running after you. She puts her phone away and runs after the two of you.
Being faster than Kelly, Alex had been able to catch up with you.
"You must be (y/n)."
You struggle against her hold, smiling when she lets go of you. You run to your mom, scared that the woman was attempting to kidnap you.
"Mom! She's trying to kidnap me! Save me!"
Kelly laughs in amusement. She bends down at your eye level and hugs you tightly.
"This is why we don't run away. I told you to be patient with me and not run away."
You hold her tighter, scared that the woman would attempt to kidnap you if she let go.
"I'm sorry, mom. I won't run away again."
Kelly pulls back to kiss the top of your forehead after your apology. She stands and turns around to face Alex.
"Good. Now this woman is not attempting to kidnap you. She was helping me reach you before something happened. Her name is Alex. Say hi to Alex."
You hide behind your mom's leg as you poke your head out to look at her.
"Hi, Alex."
Alex had been watching the two of you with a smile. She found you completely adorable.
"It's nice to meet you, (y/n). Your mom has told me a lot about you. You're absolutely adorable."
You smile, liking when people complimented you. You're no longer feeling shy as you stop hiding.
"Well if you find me so adorable. Maybe you can get me the cotton candy!"
"I would....." Alex tops talking when Kelly gives her a look. She didn't want to make a bad impression on Kelly. "I'm sorry, (y/n). Maybe another time."
You let out a huff as you cross your arms and turn your back to them. Kelly and Alex just laugh.
"Why don't we go on the rides? You did say that you were looking forward to them, (y/n)."
Your mom suggests. Having learned your lesson, you take your moms hand and drag her to the rides. Kelly takes Alex's hand and the two of them are being dragged to the nearest ride.
