Chapter 6 Revenge list part 2

January 30 1989

Another school day and another day for (Y/n). After she ran out of the school, practically everyone was whispering about her, but she didn't care. She had Alastor to help her with her revenge. Right now, she was walking towards her locker and grabbed her books for her first class. She looks at the mirror she had inside her locker. She was adjusting her glasses and from behind she could see Alastor standing behind her. She knew that no one could see him, after all, he was hiding in her shadow. She smiled at him and he smiles back.

She closed her locker, but she was soon faced to face with one of her classmates. His name was Ian. He had green eyes and black hair, and he was wearing a yellow sweatshirt with jeans. He is also the captain of the track team and (Y/n) had a crush on him, but that soon stopped when he broke her and other girls heart. 

"Hey, (Y/n). I heard what happened you. I mean I would be mad too if I argued with my family in the principal's office." Ian had a fake smile. 

"Yeah, I did, but I'm over it." (Y/n) huff away from him and walks towards her first class. 

Half way through the school day and it was time for lunch. Since Shannon was gone, (Y/n) was sitting by herself again. Well, not entire by herself. The table she was sitting had a dark corner. It was enough for Alastor to reveal himself to her, but if anyone would come closer he would have to hide in the shadows again. As (Y/n) was eating her lunch, she grabs the notebook from her backpack. With the pen, she wrote down another name.

Ian

Alatsor looked curiously at the name. "Mind telling me who that boy was?" 

(Y/n) nods her head. "His name is Ian and I want to get even with him because he broke my heart." 

Flashback

(Y/n) and Shannon were outside the track field was they were enjoying the fresh air. As they were enjoying their break, they could hear some students cheering for their track team. (Y/n)'s eyes landed to Ian. She could feel her heart skip a beat as she was in lovestruck. Shannon had to snapped her finger in front of her best friend to snap of out of her crush trance.

"Maybe you shouldn't fall for him." Shannon advised. 

"Huh? Why not?" (Y/n) asked. 

"I've heard that he dates girls just to get better grades and he dumps them after grades are in." 

(Y/n) did hear about the rumor about Ian, but she can't help it. Her heart was still telling her to have her crush on him. 

"I know I should be cautious, but its hard not to have a crush on him." (Y/n) said. Shannon sighs. "I know you'll be careful about him. Trust me he's bad news." 

That day in English class, there was a partner project that would be due in a two weeks. Shannon and (Y/n) though that they would be partners like always, but not this time. Their teacher chose partners. Shannon was partnered with someone else, while (Y/n) was partnered with Ian! She was so excited that she could burst, but remembered to be careful around him. 

During the two weeks, (Y/n) and Ian worked on their projected as they would goof around and laughed. (Y/n) thought Ian was sweet and funny. She didn't see why he would do those horrible things like the rumors were spread. Three days before the project was due, (Y/n) and Ian finished their project early. They decided to relax and watch some tv. They were watching a movie called Halloween. They were enjoying the film, until Ian did something that caught (Y/n) by surprise. He kissed her on the cheek. She faced him and stared at him at awe. She smiled and blushed at him. He chuckles and gives her another kiss on the cheek. He asked her out and she immediately said yes! Though she wished hadn't forgotten Shannon's warning. 

The day of the projecting being due, Ian has been avoiding (Y/n) for a while now. She didn't know why, overtime she tried to talk to him, he would always walked away. 

The other day when their projects were graded, (Y/n) saw that her projected scored a 96%. She was so excited about her achievement that she wanted to talk to Ian about it. Once she found him, she really did wished she said no to him now. She saw that he hand his arm around Madeline and he just told (Y/n) that he's thankful for the help and that they should break up. 

After school, (Y/n) was laying in her bed crying while Shannon and Jason comforted her. Her door was open and Maddie was giving them a smug look. Jason stood up and slammed the door in front of her face as Shannon continued to rub her best friends back. From that day, (Y/n) learned to be cautious on who she would have a crush on.

End of Flashback

"....and that's why I want to get even with that jerk." (Y/n) growled under her breathe. Alastor pats her head. "I could see why you would want revenge on that boy and trust me when I say this. You will be glad about giving that boy on what he deserves.

(Y/n) nods at him. She puts the notebook away and continues to eat her lunch. 

School was finally done for the day. (Y/n) and Alastor were waling back home, when (Y/n) stopped suddenly. Alastor on why his apprentice stopped for suddenly. Her eyes were locked on someone. Her eyes were filled with anger and hate. Lucy Ross. Shannon's mother. 

Lucy entered inside were home without noticed that (Y/n) was glaring at her. if looks could kill than that woman would have been dead in seconds. (Y/n) carefully speed walks towards the house and looked at the window. She could see Lucy looking at a picture of her and her family. She scoffs at the picture and carelessly tosses the picture to the floor. 

"Finally, I thought that poison wouldn't have killed them." (Y/n) was able to hear Lucy's voice. "And to get away with it, I just have to poison myself a little." 

(Y/n) ran away back to house. 

Once she was inside her room, she took out the notebook and wrote another name down. 

Lucy Ross

Alastor came out of her shadow. "It would seem like that woman killed her own family. My, my, what a turn of events."

(Y/n) faced her master. "I'm your apprentice, Alastor. I want you to teach me anything I need to know to get even with these idiots!" (Y/n) nearly yells. 

Alastor placed his hand on her shoulder. "In time, my apprentice. I will teach you the darkest magic and knowledge you will need for what the future holds for you." 

And (Y/n) couldn't wait to get started.
