In 1989, (Y/n) was in the seventh grade when her Best friend's death changed her life. Sure they had a good life together, always defending each other from (Y/n)'s sister and her lackeys. The only three people she ever cared about were her mother, b...
Friday after school, (Y/n) was in the living room with Alastor as he was giving her more lesson on the piano. Alastor was quite impressed that she was able to catch on quickly. She missed a few notes here and there, but Alastor was very proud of his young apprentice. As (Y/n) continued to play her song on the piano, they heard the door open and Alastor quickly hid in the shadows inside the house. Rebecca enters the house with Maddie behind as they carrying groceries in.
"Hey, Mom." (Y/n) waved to her mother. She threw a glare at her fraternal twin sister. "Maddie." (Y/n) continues to play on the piano. Maddie scoff as she put the groceries on the table. Rebecca waved to her daughter. "Hi, (N/n)." Once she was finished putting the groceries away, (no thanks to Maddie) she walked over to (Y/n).
"Its been a while since I seen you playing on the piano, honey. I have to say that I'm really proud of you." Rebecca compliments.
"Thanks, Mom." (Y/n) continues to play on the piano.
"You know, I don't think I've heard you played this song before. Where have you learned to play that piece?"
(Y/n) paused for her moment. She needed to think of an answer so her mother doesn't freak out that she's learning from a demon. Not just any demon, a powerful demon. "I...I learned from a friend of mine. You don't know him." She resumes back to her song.
"A new friend? Well, we must meet the young man." Rebecca said.
(Y/n) turns her seat towards her mother. "Mom, the thing is...I'm more of his apprentice. He's taught me everything I need to know and he even taught me how to cook those delicious foods I've been making. He's more like a tutor."
"A tutor huh?" Rebecca thought for a moment. "Well, why didn't you say so. He's still a friend right?"
"You could say that." (Y/n) goes back to playing on the piano.
"If that's the case, then we should still invite him for dinner."
(Y/n) hits the wrong notes in fear from what she heard from her mother. She turned to her mother as she was rambling on. "After all, we should proper thank him for helping you." Rebecca said. (Y/n) shakes her head rapidly. "I don't think so, Mom!" Rebecca looked at her daughter confusedly. "I mean, he might be busy. He has a tight schedule." (Y/n) tried to make a excuse. If her mom would ever meet Alastor right now, she would have a heart attack.
Rebecca kept on insisting that they invite Alastor to dinner and (Y/n) had no choose to give in since Rebecca was giving (Y/n) the mom stare. (Y/n) walks towards the house phone as she gives Alastor a pleading looking. Signaling for him to help her. Using his powers, he instructed her to type which numbers in. After dialing the numbers, she could hear the phone ringing.
Alastor: Hello, dear.
(Y/n): Alastor, you can hear?
Alastor: Of course my dear, thanks to the powers I'm still teaching you.
(Y/n): Okay, I need you to decline-
Before (Y/n) give say anymore, Rebecca takes the phone away from her and lightly pushes her away. (Y/n) hopes that Alastor wouldn't accept the invite. "Hello, Alastor? Yes, this is Rebecca, (Y/n)'s mother. How are you?" Rebecca begins to talk to Alastor. "...and we were just wondering if you would like to come by for dinner? As our way of saying thanks for looking out for my daughter." (Y/n) smiled thinking she was safe and sound if Alatsor declines the off and never show himself to her family. "Great! We'll see you tomorrow at 6 o'clock!" (Y/n)'s mind went blank at first before her whole world was practically shattered. "Great! Have a nice day." Rebecca hangs up the phone. She turned towards her daughter with a smile on her face. "Great news, Alastor said that he would come."
"That's great." (Y/n) smiled through a nervous smile. Rebecca kisses (Y/n)'s forehead. "I'll make today's dinner and you can help me thinking of what to make for tomorrow's special dinner." (Y/n) nods. "Sure thing, Mom."
"YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO DECLINE THE OFFER!!!" (Y/n) yelled at Alastor. She was so mad at him that she flops on her bed. She screams all of her frustration in a pillow. Alastor just looked at her his apprentice confusedly. "I couldn't refuse your mother's off. It wouldn't be gentlemen like and beside I wish to meet your family formally." (Y/n) gave him a tried look. "That's nice, but there's one problem." She pointed Alastors whole features. "My family will totally freak if they see you like this."
Alastor thought for a moment and he finally got an idea. He snapped his fingers and transformed himself. (Y/n)'s eyes widen at Alastor's new form, well human form. He looked completely normal, but he was till wearing his usually outfit.

"Not bad, but I think you might want to change your outfit if you want to fit in." (Y/n) points out. Knowing she was right, he snapped his fingers again and changed his outfit for the appropriate timeline. He wore a pair of khaki pants, a red long sleeve, button up shirt and a black tie. "Perfect! No one will suspect that your a demon."
"Glad to hear it, my dear!" Alastor smiled. Instead of hearing his static voice, he sounded pretty normal. "Is that what you sound like without the static in your voice." (Y/n) asked. "Why, yes it is." Alastor replied. (Y/n) shrugged her shoulders. "Not gonna lie. You sound pretty cool."
Seeing Alastor as a human, (Y/n) thinks that their plan can actually go well, she hoped.
