The morning had arrived as Vaggie woke up. She yawns and rubs her eyes. She turned to see Charlie but she was gone. "Charlie?"
Back in the lobby, the others stared at Charlie as she was panicking and planning what their next move should be for the Hotel. The others were concerned for her. Charlie kept muttering to herself about her plans.
"Yikes." Angel said. "She was like this when we found this morning." (Y/n) hissed with concern. "Come on, come on, come on, come on." Charlie mutters. "Charlie? Sweetie? You, uh, you good?" Vaggie asked. Charlie looks back as she is obviously sleep-deprived. Along with having an insane look in her eyes. "Nope! No, not really. Ha ha. I've been up all night trying to figure out why the hotel isn't working. We've done trust falls, we've tried sharing our feelings, we only have a couple months left before the angels come." Charlie turns to them as she early goes all demon form along with a maniacal laugh. She then turns back to normal. "And at this rate-"
"Maybe it's time-" Vaggie tries to speak. "No!" Charlie didn't like where this was going. "...to ask-" Vaggie continues. "Don't say it!" Charlie begged as she held Vaggie's face. "...your dad." Vaggie finished. In defeat, Charlie groans. "Charlie, I know you don't want to, but we need every advantage we can get." Vaggie tried to reason with her.
"He let the extermination happen to begin with. They just had a meeting and said, "Go ahead and kill everyone" Charlie gasped when she had a thought bubble. "Wait, that's it!"
"Kill everyone?" Vaggie asked. "No! He could get me a meeting with Heaven!" Charlie smiled. "I thought you guys tried that already." (Y/n) spoke out. "Well. yeah with Adam, he was an asshole. But he isn't in charge of all of Heaven. We could go to the top. There's sure to be some angels who will listen." Charlie takes out her phone and scrolls through her contacts. When she finds her dad, she is hesitant. "What's the holdup? You got daddy issues?" Husk asked. "No, we just have never been close. After he and Mom split, he never really wanted to see me. He calls, sometimes, but only if he's bored or like needs me to do something." Charlie explains. Husk and (Y/n) smirked at each other before they turned to the others. "Daddy issues."
"Well, I'd like to meet the big dick in charge." Angel smiles. Niffty holds a knife. "The ultimate bad boy." She laughs before Angel takes the knife away from her. "I bet he's scary."
Inside the home of Lucifer Morningstar, in a room with family photos hug as the king of Hell was working on another project of his. "That's it. Almost there. Now presenting..." He turns to show off his masterpiece. "The magic-tactical back-flipping rubber duck! Haha! That spits fire!" His rubber duck backflips before it shoots fire from its mouth. Inside his room was filled with rubber ducks. "Hoo hoo hoo! Hold the applause please, okay. Oh, thank you, thank you. Oh god, who am I kidding? This sucks." He throws his rubber duck. It hits his family photo before he looks depressed. Suddenly he hears his phone ringing. He was shocked to see who was calling him "Daughter? Daughter! Daughter calling?! OH! Uhm uh, uh hello, Charlie. H-Hey, hey, hey Char-Char. No, no! That's not good. Oh, this is the first time she's called you. Yes, this has to be perfect." He answers his phone. "Hey bitch!" He happily answered.
"Hi, Dad." Charlie answered back with a nervous smile. "Hey! How are you? Oh ho ho. Where-where are you these days?" Lucifer asked. "You know where I am Dad. I've told you before." Charlie frowned. "You have? Oh, yeah uh, well, you know, I uh-" Lucifer could find the right answer. "I told you when you called me five months ago, or did you not listen?" Charlie questioned. "No, no, no, no. Just, you know, just forgot. You know, I've just been really busy, you know, with, um, important things." Lucifer kicks a rubber duck. Not wanting to reveal what his projects were. "Well, I'm actually running a hotel to rehabilitate sinners. Maybe you saw our commercial?" Charlie explains. As she was talking, Angel gave her an encouraging smile, and (Y/n) gave her a thumbs up.
