(Y/n) was reading a book of spells in the lounge as she wrote some notes down. She was learning a new spell that could help, well more like prank any rivals approaching the Hotel. A glass cup filled with soda was placed next to her. "Thanks, Husk." (Y/n) thanks without looking up. Husk just ruffled (Y/n) before going back to his chores. (Y/n) decided that she had enough studying her spells and decided to take a break. She took her soda and happily drinks it. Charlie smiled as she appeared behind (Y/n). Before she could speak, (Y/n) stopped her. "Sorry, Charlie. I'm still declining your offer to be used as a lab rat to see if redemption works." Then, she took a very long sip of her soda. Charlie frowns. "Oh, come on, (Y/n). You're just a kid. I mean you shouldn't be in hell."
(Y/n) raised her eyebrow. "What about you and the rest of the hell-borns?" Charlie sighs. "I'm talking about sinners, (Y/n). You seem like a good kid, you just need more attention and love to get-"
Crash!!!
Charlie's eyes widen when (Y/n) crushed her glass in her hands. (Y/n) tighten her grip as glass shards dig deeper into her palms. Blood was dripping from her wounds. "Wow, Charlie. I knew that a lot of kids didn't receive a lot of love and they grow up to be major assholes, but don't put me in that category. Unlike them, I at least had a few people who loved me and gave me enough attention so I wouldn't feel neglected." (Y/n) begins to pull the shards from her wound. "Don't do that, I'll go get a first aid it!" Charlie shrieks. Before she could leave, (Y/n) stopped her. "Don't bother." (Y/n) used her powers and healed herself. Charlie was impressed by it. She knew (Y/n) was powerful for a girl her age. The thirteen-year-old glared at the princess of hell and then she walked outside. Charlie chased after her but was that (Y/n) already flew away. She sighs as she walked back inside. There, Alastor walked towards her.
"Might not have been the best approach to (Y/n)." Alastor smiled. "It's just that after she died in that fire, she might need more guidance," Charlie said. Alastor laughed. "Ha, ha, ha. Don't worry about that, my dear. (Y/n) is in good with me."
Charlie smiled nervously. "Yes, but I think that (Y/n) might need a reminder that she's just a kid." Alastor laughed again. "I believe that someone else is already doing that job once they got here." Charlie was confused about what Alastor meant. So, he told her to go find (Y/n). Since he already knows that she might have gone to visit an old friend of hers. Charlie decided to take Alastor's advice and decided to go find (Y/n).
Charlie drove all around Pentagram City looking for (Y/n), but luck yet. The sun was beginning to set and Charlie wanted to find (Y/n) before anything happened to her. Before Charlie could continue her search any further, she heard an explosion near. She got out of the limo and went to go see if (Y/n) was there. Around the corner of an abandoned building, there was a turf war going on. On one side there were hell borns, hellish animals, and sinners fighting to protect their turf while the other side tried to push in further. Charlie noticed a sinner, who was a three-eyed demon and was at least 20 years old was moving further toward the enemy with a shotgun in his hands. One of the enemies was able to get the gun out of the three-eyed demon's hand and kicked him away. Before the three-eyed demon could stand up, the other demon stomps on his neck to pin him down. The other demon grins evilly and aimed his gun at the three-eyed demon. Before he could shoot, a black tendril grabbed the enemy demon by the neck and throws him away. The enemies gasped when they realized who arrived.
(Y/n) surmised wickedly as she held her scythe in her hands. "If you guys don't want to be chopped into pieces and fend to hellish animals, I suggest you scram."
Knowing very well that (Y/n) is considered powerful for a girl her age, the enemies didn't want to still around and immediately left before she could kill them. The other demons cheered seeing the enemies running away from fear. (Y/n) helped the three-eye demon up and went to go heal anyone who was injured.
Charlie came out of hiding and began to cheer. "Awesome, (Y/n)! I knew you were powerful but didn't think that you drive away that many enemies." (Y/n) was surprised that Charlie found her, but she smirked instead. "Wow, so you underestimate my power too, Charlie? Why am I not surprised." (Y/n) finished healing up the rest of her people. "Sorry, (Y/n), but you consider that this is a sign that you're actually good-" (Y/n) stopped Charlie.
"I'm still not joining your social experiment, Charlie. I already have someone on my back saying that I don't belong in hell." (Y/n) pointed at the three-eye demon. He walked closer to Charlie and offer to shake her hand. "So, we finally meet, Princess Charlie. I'm Marshal. I a friend of (Y/n)'s." Charlie smiled and shook his hand. "Pleasure to meet you. So how do you two know each other?" Charlie asked.
(Y/n) and Marshal began to explain that they knew each other because they were from Crypt Hills, their hometown. Marshal was like another big brother to (Y/n) since he was in her father's gang. After Marshal was sent to jail, he heard about (Y/n)'s death, which he was very devastated about. He spent a year in jail but didn't know how to feel about it. One day, he heard Caleb not really caring about what happened at the school fire. This enraged Marshal and so they both got into a fight. There was a small prison riot as they both fought. When Caleb pulled Marshal into a chokehold, he told Marshal he was a traitor to the gain and traitors pay by dying. So, Caleb snapped Marshal's neck.
Next thing Marshal, he was in hell. No surprise to him since all the crimes he's done. His first months of hell were challenging, but he was able to manage. When he heard about the Radio Demon and his Apprtetince, Marshal didn't think that she and the (Y/n) were the same people, but boy he was wrong. They were happy to be reunited again after Marshal scolded (Y/n) for being a good girl and not deserving to be in hell. And after she explained how she ended up here. Now that they were together, Marshal learned that (Y/n) had saved a lot of demons that were in similar situations to them. She took over small territories to protect her people. With Marshal's help, they were able to expand her territory to take in more sinners, hell-borns, and animals that all have been abused, tortured, or wronged in their lives.
"....and that's how her territory, The Community was formed." Marshal finished explaining. (Y/n) smirked proudly. "Yep, with Marshal's help, I was able to have my own turf." Marshal patted her back. "More as you did it on your own, look how much you've done."
Charlie smiled proudly. "See, I knew there was good in you." Marshal laughed. "That's what I've been telling her." (Y/n) rolled her eyes playfully. "Great, now I got two people on my back about not supposed to being here." Charlie thanked Marshal for looking out for (Y/n) and then two girls left for the Hotel. Marshal waved goodbye before leading the group back into The Community.
(Y/n) was in the lounge just reading a book for fun, when suddenly Charlie placed a small box with a ribbon wrapped around it. (Y/n) placed her book down and then looked at Charlie. "I got you a little present." The princess of hell said. (Y/n) scared opened the box to reveal a phone, with an (f/c) case. "I know that you already have a phone based on the 80s but Marshal and I were talking and decided to give you another whenever you go flying off or go out with friends. Everyone's phone number is in there." Charlie explained everything. "Wow. Thanks, Charlie." (Y/n)'s eyes widen. She didn't really think about getting the latest phone, but now she's got one. Before Charlie could leave, (Y/n) called out to her. "Hey, Charlie. Do you think that maybe you could teach me how to use it? I'm used to using other phones." (Y/n) asked. Charlie's smile was bigger as she was happy that she can finally help (Y/n) with something.
Throughout the rest of the day, Charlie taught (Y/n) how to make phone calls, take photos, download the latest games, and helped set up her own social media page. Even though it was something small, (Y/n) and Charlie were actually glad that they were enjoying each other's company. And maybe hope to hang out more, without any conflicts that is.
