Now that (Y/n) began her new life in hell, what she didn't know is what happened after her death at Crypt Hills. Not only did she die, but a handful of students, along with a few faculty members died in the horrible fire that was started by Luis and Miguel. The whole town went to the memorial service that was held at the destroyed school. Instead of rebuilding the school, they built a small memorial that had the names of those who died in the fire, which was surrounded by the rubbles from the fire. Everyone would come up to pay their respects and place a flower on the memorial. Jason and Rebecca were waiting their turn to pay their respects to (Y/n) and Madeline. They could see a lot of families weeping about their children's death, other kids mourning for their lost friends and teachers, and others there to pay their respects to those they knew before the fire killed them.
Jason and Rebecca saw that it was their turn. Rebecca teared up when she saw her daughters' names carved into the memorial. She placed the roses down and walks away as she tried to keep her tears in. Jason closed his eyes as a tear escaped his eye. He placed his roses down and walks over to comfort his mother, after all, he was the only one she has left.
After the memorial service, it was time for (Y/n) and Madeline's funeral. Many close friends and family attended the funeral at the Crypt Hills mortuary. The funeral service began as everyone was there to pay their respects to the (L/n) fraternal twins. Rebecca was held by her mother as they cried their hearts out. Jason sat next to his grandfather as he comforts his grandson and mourns the loss of his granddaughters. The main group of friends that (Y/n) made was able to attend the funeral and say their last goodbye to the dear friend they cared for. A few people went up and opened the caskets of (Y/n) and Madeline were laid to rest. They were dressed in black dresses and most of their burnt scars were covered up. One by one many people went to the caskets to say their final goodbye. (Y/n)'s friends went to her casket and said goodbye to her and laid some (f/c) flowers inside her casket.
Everyone began to leave the funeral after the service was over, but Jason was the only one that stayed behind. He went over the (Y/n)'s open casket and stroked her burned cheek. He carefully picks her up and gives her one last hug. Tears streamed his eyes as he tried so hard not to cry. "I'm sorry, (Y/n). I'm going to miss you so much." He then lays (Y/n) back in her casket and goes over to Madeline. He strokes her hair and kisses her forehead. "I just wish you got a chance to show that you change. I'm sorry we weren't close either, but I didn't want you to leave like this. Goodbye, Maddie."
A week after burying (Y/n) and Madeline at the Crypt Hills Cemetary, Jason and his grandfather went to the prison that held Miguel and Luis for murder. As the two men left, Rebecca stayed behind to be with her mother to comfort each other. It was an hour's drive, but they made it to the prison. They waited inside the prison visiting room and waited for the two responsible for the fire. The door of the other side of the room opens to reveal Luis and Miguel in orange jumpsuits and behind them was a guard. They sat down on chairs and grabbed the phone since the glass divided them.
"What are you doing here, (L/n) and older (L/n)?" Luis questions in disrespect. "You better watch your tone, boy." Jason's grandfather warned. Luis lets out a better laugh. "I'm asking you two again, what more do you want from us? You already appeared at court to put us in this fuckin prison."
"Why? Why did you kill my sisters, along with those innocent kids and faculty members?" Jason glared. Luis smirked. "That little bitch of your sister deserved for what she and you did to me. She humiliated me, you humiliated me. You took away my popularity when you came and that bitch had to come and save your ass." He glared at Jason and his grandfather. "Not only that but that sister of yours is a witch! She had a strange figure in her shadow! I did the world a favor and burn that witch at the stake!" Everyone's eyes widen at Luis's statement. They all thought he finally lost his mind. Jason gave Luis and gave him a death glare. Jason's grandfather still had his eyes widened, but he quickly recovered and he grabbed the phone from his grandson and slammed it on the table.
"Boy, you are so lucky that you are around my grandson's age because if you weren't, I would have had my connections give you a personal message about messing with my family." Jason's grandfather spoke through the phone. Luis didn't want to deal with the (L/n) family anymore, so he commanded the guard to take him back to his cell. Now, it was just Miguel with the two men of the (L/n) family. He grabs the phone and listens to them.
"I don't get it, Miguel. We used to be best friends. (Y/n) thought of you as another older brother. So why did you kill her? Why did you change?" Jason questioned as tears formed in his eyes. Miguel tried to hold it together, but he sobbed his answer. "I don't know. I didn't mean to kill her. Luis told me it was just to make her last school day memorable, but not like that! I never meant to kill her! I didn't want to! I love her like a little sister!" Jason and his grandfather watched as Miguel continued to sob. "I was jealous. I was jealous that you became popular and had such a pretty girlfriend and amazing little sister." Miguel paused to take a breath. "Luis used that against me to break our friendship and now, I wish it never happened. Maybe we could still be friends and maybe (Y/n) would still be alive. After all, she convinced me to try to talk to you again."
Jason passed the phone to his grandfather. "Yeah, my granddaughter was a good kid. We both know that she still sees a good person in you." Miguel shook his head. "No, I already pleaded guilty and I'm staying here until I die, after all, I deserve it." A guard approach Miguel and told him that his time was up and he had to return to his cell. "I'm sorry, Jason. I never meant for any of this to happen." Jason breathed in, then out. "Thank you, but it will take some time for me to forgive you." Miguel nodded his head. "I understand." He puts the phone back and allows the guard to escort him back to his cell. Once inside his cell, Miguel sat on his bed as he began to cry again. He pulls a photo out of his pocket. It was a photo of (Y/n) making a silly face while Jason and Miguel laughed. "I'm sorry, (N/n). I'm so sorry."
Jason and his grandfather made it back home to find his mother and grandmother sitting in the living while drinking tea. Jason went over to his mother and hugged her. Rebecca hugged her son and kissed his forehead, now he was the only child she has left. Jason's grandfather went over to his wife and comforted her as they both mourn the loss of their granddaughters. Jason looked up at the photos hanging on the wall and his eyes landed on one particular photo. It was a recent photo of him showing off his officer intern uniform as (Y/n) pointed at him with a smile.
Jason made a silent promise to his deceased sister. 'I am not have been able to protect you, (Y/n), but I promise to make you proud and be the best officer this town has.'
