February 4, 1989
It was another beautiful morning. (Y/n) was alone in the house since her father was at work, her mother was doing some errands and Maddie had to come with her as punishment, and Jason was hanging out with friends for the rest of the day until dinner. (Y/n) was finishing up her morning chores since she had some free time. When she woke up, she'd expected to see Alastor, but he wasn't there.
"Okay, I'm home alone and Alastor is still not here. I guess I can kill some time by watching some movies." (Y/n) said to herself. She looked over at the bottom of the shelf and looked through the VHS section. She browsed at the movie titles and found one she thought of watching.
She picks out a movies. "Gremlins. I've haven't seen this in a while." (Y/n) puts the VHS in the player and went to grabs some popcorn as it shows movies trailers for other movies. As she was making some popcorn, she began thinking. "I wonder where's Alastor?"
"I'm right behind you, my apprentice!" Alastor appears from behind. (Y/n) shrieks as she placed her hand to her heart. "Stop doing that! You're going to give me a heart attack!"
Alastor laughed. "Sorry, my dear but I couldn't resist." He pulls out a wrapped up present from behind his back. "While I was in Hell, I've brought you a little present." Alastor gives her the present.
"Thanks." (Y/n) carefully tears the wrapping paper off. It was the spell book Alastor bought from Rosie. "Woah! Is this a spell book?" (Y/n) looked back at Alastor. He nods. "This is so cool! Thank you, Alastor!" (Y/n) thanked excitedly. Alastor pats her head. "You're welcome."
Alastor told her that today they would be begin her training. He would teach her a bit of his power. Not arguing, (Y/n) puts her movie to a pause and walked outside. Alastor asked where the rest of her family was, so she told them where everyone else was. Seeing this is a good opportunity to practice magic, Alastor wasted no time in starting (Y/n)'s lesson.
"Now that three people are crossed off of your revenge list, I thought it would be the perfect day to practice some magic. I could teach you something that could help with the rest of your revenge." Alastor explains as (Y/n) listens carefully. Alastor snapped his fingers and appears another demon. (Y/n) looked at the demon confusedly since he was all tied up. She was about to ask what happened to him, but Alastor beat her to it. He told her that the demon tried to go against him and things didn't ended well for the tied up demon.
Alastor instructed (Y/n) to open her book. He explained to her that he will teach her on how to mess with the bones of others. Turning through page by page, she found the spell she was looking for.
"Now pay close attention, (Y/n) as I demonstrated on how I do it." Alastor looked towards the demon. He raised his hand and clutches his hand to a fist. Breaking bones could be heard as the demons arm was twisted. He lets out a painfully scream.
"Ouch. That's got to hurt." (Y/n) flinched.
Alastor stood behind her and placed his hands on her shoulders. "Now, (Y/n). It's your turn. Inorder to do the spell correct, you must focus on the spot you wish to break." (Y/n) nods in understanding and preforms the spell. Her eyes focused on the demon's leg and repeated the steps Alastor did. Concentrating hard enough, she was able to break the demon's leg and another painfully scream was heard. "Not bad, my young apprentice." Alastor praises.
They practiced more of the spell for over and hour. From what Alastor and (Y/n) have done, they broke everyone bone in the demon's body.
"I'm surprised that this guys is still alive." (Y/n) pointed at the demon.
"Oh, he'll be fine." Alastor told.
"N..Not..fine." The demon whimpered.
"Well maybe you should have thought of that before you tried to go against my master." (Y/n) crosses her arms. "Oh yeah, kid. Maybe you could fu-" (Y/n) didn't give the demon a change to finish his sentence. She kicked him where the light don't shine. The demon remained still with a painfully look planted on his face. He falls down and shakes in pain. "That was a cheap shot!" His voice went high.
"Nice shot, my dear." Alastor smiles.
"I thought someone needed to shut him up." (Y/n) smirked. "Maybe he should go back to Hell, I can't let the neighbors know about you guys."
Knowing that (Y/n) was right, Alastor snapped his fingers and the demon was immediately transported back to Hell. Just being the two of them outside, they decided to head back inside. Once inside, (Y/n) looked at the cloak and saw that it was time to make dinner since it was her turn to make it. She makes her way to the kitchen. She opens the fridge and see what she could make. Alastor stood behind and examined what food they had. An idea popped into his head. He lightly pushed (Y/n) out of the way. She looked at the curiously as he took out various items from the fridge.
"What are you doing, Alastor?" (Y/n) tilted her head. Alastor turned to his apprentice. "Seeing that you have lots of food, my next lesson to you is that I'm going to teach you how to make jambalaya."
(Y/n) eyes sparkled in excitement. "That sounds good. I never had jambalaya before."
Alastor chuckles. "Well, I'm teaching you my mother's wonder recipe for jambalaya."
Getting everything readying, Alastor began to teach (Y/n) on how to make his mother's famous jambalaya. Step by step, he taught her which spices to use, what's the right temperature, and did some taste testing.
Alastor gave her a spoon full to (Y/n). "How does it taste, my apprentice?" Alastor asked.
"Woah! This taste awesome!" (Y/n) exclaims. "You got to teach me how to make other delicious foods."
Alastor pats her head. "That's why you're my apprentice. I'm here to teach you everything you need to know."
They continued to cook the jambalaya. Not long after that, they heard someone open the door. Alastor took that as a signal to hide in (Y/n)'s shadow. The door revealed Jason. The siblings greeted each other, he sniffed the air.
"What you cooking, (Y/n)? That smells great." Jason practically drooled.
"Im cooking some jambalaya." (Y/n) answered.
"Do you mind if I have a taste?" Jason was about to eat a spoon full, but (Y/n) playfully shoved her brother away and told him to wait for everyone else.
Not long after that, everyone was at the dinner table. Everyone was enjoying the dinner (Y/n) made.
"(Y/n), this is amazing. Where did you learned to make jambalaya?" Rebecca asked happily. (Y/n) stopped eating. "Well....I...learned it from a friend of mine! Yeah, a friend!"
"A friend? Who are they?" Rebecca continues to eat her meal.
"You don't know him. You could say that he's new around here." (Y/n) wasn't lying about that part.
"Well, whatever he's teaching you, you should make more." Jason happily stuffed more jambalaya in his mouth.
Maddie just said that (Y/n) could do better and even Caleb agreed to this. Rebecca tried to reason with her husband and Jason kicked Maddie in the shin. (Y/n) looked down at Alastor as he still hid in her shadow. "See what I have to go through with those two." (Y/n) whispered. Alastor nods. He uses his powers to break one of the legs from Caleb's chair. He falls on the floor as he groans in pain. Rebecca and Maddie gasped at him while Jason and (Y/n) tried to cover up their laughs.
(Y/n) was wearing her (f/c) pajamas and she was in the bathroom brushing her teeth. Making sure her teeth were nice and clean, she rinsed her mouth. She walks back to her room and Alastor reading one of her books from her bookshelf. She happily jumps on her bed and laughs about what happened at dinner. "Oh, man, Alastor! What you did to Dad was great! He should have seen the look on his own face!"
"Ha ha ha! You were right about that!" Alastor agrees. He puts the book away and takes a seat next to his apprentice. "So who is next on your revenge list, (Y/n)?"
Hearing about her revenge list, (Y/n) grabs her notebook and check who she wanted to get her revenge next.
Ian
"You know, that spell you taught just gave me an idea on what to do with Ian." A smirk slowly appears on (Y/n)'s lips. "How about we make sure the whole school knows how he toys with girls' heart." She turned to her master. "Got an ideas?"
Alastor smiled wickedly with his apprentice. "I might have an idea on what to do."
Now they devised a plan to get even with the boy who toys with girls' hearts.
