Chapter 63 Friendly Battle (The Great Divide)

After finally calming down, (Y/n) reversed the spell she placed on Shannon's wings. Shannon happily flaps her wings. She looks back to see (Y/n) lowering her head in shame. From all the anger she was feeling, she wasn't thinking right. Shannon shoots closer to (Y/n). "Hey, I'm fine now and everything is okay!" Shannon tries to cheer up (Y/n).

"How did you even get here?" (Y/n) asked. "Oh, your grandma has her ways." Shannon told. "You know both she and your uncle really missed after you passed away before them. And so have I." Shannon spoke out. "You were my true sister, Shannon. I missed you more than you think and I nearly killed you because of what's happening!" (Y/n) tears up. Shannon placed her hand on (Y/n)'s shoulder. "(Y/n), it's okay. I already forgiven you." (Y/n) hasn't forgiven herself though. "Look, from what we've seen at the meeting, I can understand why you're angry. You made an incredible bond with those people. I see you care about them just like they care about you." Shannon told. "Although you had to do some pretty challenging things to survive, I don't blame anything on you."

"I...I just don't know what to do anymore. The Hotel is going to be endangered and my friends might die from it. I'm just so angry at everything that is going on and I took it out on the wrong person!" (Y/n) wipes her tears.

"Yeah, I think you should take it out on Adam." Shannon jokes. At least it got (Y/n) laughing. "You know Adam and your uncle really hate each other." Shannon told. Now this is interesting to (Y/n). From what Shannon's been telling her, her uncle hates Adam for being ignorant, rude, and a total flirt towards her grandmother. Renn has always seen Kori as his own sister and she's happily married to Agnarr. Every time Adam would flirt with her, it made Renn sick to his stomach.

"...and from your grandmother's told me, they nearly had a huge fight." Shannon explained. "Oh, I would pay big money to see Uncle Renn beat the crap out of Adam." (Y/n) smiled. "I'm really glad you're here, Shannon." (Y/n) said. "Well, I'm glad I found you." Shannon hugged her while (Y/n) hugged back.

Shannon stood up and had an idea of how else she could cheer up (Y/n).

Shannon: Oh-ooh

Shannon begins to sing as it confuses (Y/n).

Shannon sings how she lost (Y/n) before and now she's found. She just wants to spend her time with her again. Shannon grabs (Y/n)'s and helps her up. She twirls around with her which causes (Y/n) to have a huge smile on her face.

Doesn't seem so wide... anymore

(Y/n) joins in as she uses her magic to make lights fly around them. Shannon smiled at her as they both sang together as much as their hearts could take. Glad to be at each other's side again.

(Y/n): I can't recall what life was like withoutcha
Now, it feels as though we've never been apart

We're meant to be together I can feel it in my heart

Now it was (Y/n)'s turn to sing. She couldn't remember what her afterlife without her best friend was like and now that she's back, her heart was slowly healing. They danced around as (Y/n) placed her hands on her heart as she knew they were meant to be best friends forever, together as sisters. Shannon smiled at (Y/n).
