After the meeting in Heaven, let's just say that it was happy in the Hazbin Hotel. Besides Charlie, (Y/n) didn't take the news too lightly either. Everyone knew how she felt about liars. She newly lost it with Vaggie. So instead, she flies out to cool herself down. She didn't know how long she was flying until she stopped. (Y/n) noticed her surroundings. Everywhere were abandoned buildings and rubble on the floor. (Y/n) kicks a piece of rubble and leans against a broken wall.
Unbeknownst to her was that someone was watching her from afar. The figure slowly makes its way toward (Y/n). The figure made the mistake of placing their hand on (Y/n)'s shoulder. In reaction, (Y/n) flips the person over and readies her claws to attack.
"No!!! Wait!!!" The figure was actually Shannon. Only (Y/n) didn't know that. "Give me one good reason why I should tear your organs out!!!" (Y/n) hissed. "(Y/n), please! It's me!! It's Shannon!!!" Shannon pleads. (Y/n) didn't believe her. She narrowed her eyes as she brought Shannon closer. "There's no way you're her. She would never be in a place like this. And how do you know about her!?"
"Because I am Shannon. Please, (Y/n)! You have to believe me!" Shannon continued to beg. "You're not her! She would have angel wings instead of butterfly wings and from what Charlie and Vaggie told me, you guys are the cause of what's going to happen to the Hotel!" (Y/n) pushed her away. Shannon steadies herself. (Y/n) was right. Shannon had to be with butterfly wings instead of angel ones because that could expose her.
"Please, (Y/n)! Listen to me!"
"Are you from Heaven?"
"Yes."
"Then you're an angel and you knew about what's going to happen at the Hotel???"
"Yes, but-!"
"I knew it!" Looking angry, tears threaten to come out from (Y/n)'s eyes. She threw Shannon away from her. Shannon tried to walk towards (Y/n) and explain herself, but she didn't get the chance. (Y/n) throws a shadow ball at her. Shannon dodges it just in time. She turned back to (Y/n), but she was gone. She flies after her.
"(Y/n), please wait!" Shannon cried out. (Y/n) ignores her. Shannon thought of something that might stop her. "(N/n)!!!" Shannon used (Y/n)'s nickname. This caused (Y/n) to stop, but she refused to face her.
Shannon: This has to stop now
Whatever it is that you're going through,
we'll fix it together - me and you
Just like we've always done
Shannon sings to her best friend as she tries to reason with her.
(Y/n): No! This has to stop now
This thing where you think that you've been my friend
And don't even hear how you condescend
The way you've always done
(Y/n) face Shannon and glares at her. She blames her for the suffering that is happening to her right now. What was going to happen to the Hotel. Her home.
Shannon: (Y/n) , listen
(Y/n): I'm listening
Shannon: I know it isn't true
(Y/n): Isn't it?
Shannon: Just look into my eyes now
(Y/n): Well?
Shannon: I know you feel it too
(Y/n): Perhaps I do
Shannon walked cautiously towards (Y/n) as they continued to sing together. (Y/n) barely her fangs at Shannon. She didn't want her to get near her. The more Shannon reasoned, the more (Y/n) started to calm down and listen.
Shannon: (Y/n), listen
(Y/n): I'm listening
Shannon: I swear it's not too late
So before another line gets crossed
and everything we've had is lost
just wait...
