A few days after the deaths of the three convicts, (Y/n) was beginning to feel at ease as she counted the days until her summer break will finally arrive. Not only that, but Jason was thinking of being a summer intern at the Crypt Hills Police Station. (Y/n) already knew that Jason's dream was to work with great officers when he's graduated. She knew that Jason would be a great police officer when he grew up and she's really proud of him.

"I still can't believe that your school gets out a week early than us." (Y/n) laughs. "Me neither, but  the principal said that the school will be needing a bit of remodel so we go the week early." Jason explains. Right now, the two siblings were walking to the police station to see if Jason can get an internship for the summer. "You think Sherif will let me in for the summer?" Jason asked. "You kidding me? Everyone loves the Sheriff. He's a good man and he knows you're a good guy too, Jay." (Y/n) smiled.

Once they both made it, (Y/n) was sitting in the shadows of the waiting room as Jason was getting an interview for the summer internship. When she was in the shadows, Alastor appears in front of her. "So your brother wants to be a police officer when he graduates high school?" Alastor raised a brow. "Yeah, Jason wants to be a cop that everyone can depend on like the Sheriff. He's a cool dude." (Y/n) explains. "Hmm. Looks like your little town has a positivity for the law." Alastor hums. "Well...not everyone." (Y/n) groans when she noticed someone coming. It was the Deputy of Crypt Hills. Everyone knew him as a dirty cop. Lots of people tried to get him fired and arrest but nothing worked. He never did anything on the job and he would always tries to get the credit for the rest of his coworkers. (Y/n) hated that guy.

Before thought of using her magic to make the Deputy's day a bad one, Jason comes out with the Sheriff.

"Well, Jason, I'll call you later to see if you get the spot." The Sherif said. "Great! Thank you so much for your time, Sheriff." Jason shook his hand.

Jason told (Y/n) it was time to get home, but she couldn't help noticing the conversation that the Deputy was having with the Sheriff. Seeing the curious look on her face, Alastor told her that he'll meet up with her later and he'll stay behind to see what the Deputy is up to. (Y/n) nods and head back home with Jason.

Alastor spatial warped inside back into the office of the Sherif. He listens closely at the Sheriff's and Deputy's conversation.

"I'm telling you, Sherif. I don't think that kid is the right material we need for the summer internship." The Deputy said.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Deputy, but Jason (L/n) is a good kid with excellent grades and a no record." The Sheriff tried to defend Jason.

"You remembered who his father was right? His father was a gang leader. How do we know that he isn't following his footsteps?" Deputy tried to make more excuses.

"Yeah, I remember about Caleb (L/n) he abused his family except for his favorite daughter. Jason is a good kid and I know he can be great in the internship." Sheriff wasn't convinced about Jason being bad.

"Well, you didn't hear this from me, but I heard that the kid is a smoker and tried to get his classmates in trouble." What the Deputy said got the Sheriff and Alastor's attention. "This kid might not be a great deal for the internship, just think about it Sheriff." The Deputy left the Sheriff's office.
