Chapter 82

I looked confused at Alec and saw Agramon smiling towards our way. I quickly shook my head as I remained staring at him.

"What are you doing here?!" I shouted angrily. Alec didn't seem to be wanting to move from where he was standing. He stood right in front of me, acting like a shield.

"Something you would do if you were in my position." Alec said and I squeezed my eyes shut out of frustration before I replied, "You need to get away from here."

Before Alec could reply, a loud laugh was filled where I was standing. Agramon came closer towards us and I quickly pulled Alec by the arm so he would stand next to me.

"Why leave now when it finally became a bit interesting?" He asked while looking at his nephew. As I turned my head to look at Alec, I could see the disgust he had for him. That one glance already proved to me that Alec hated his uncle more than anything in this entire world.

"You only needed me. Not Alec. Let him go." I said, trying to negotiate with Agramon. Alec snapped his head towards me, giving me death glares.

"It looks like your lover doesn't want to leave." He spoke out quietly while mischievously looking over at Alec. I sighed and my breathe whimpered. I became more scared by each second.

Agramon was unpredictable and I didn't wanted to provoke him into doing something that I knew was going to hurt me. Jonathan tried to kill Alec before... That was the reason why I had left him behind with the rest. I didn't wanted them to suffer because of me. I wanted them to be safe.

They would be safe without me in their lives...

"I won't leave. I am not like you." Alec spoke out sternly, watching his uncle. I didn't knew whether those words were directed at me or Agramon but I felt attacked by it anyway.

Agramon chuckled before twirling his seraph blade in his hand and looked over at Valentine who shared the same evil smile as Agramon did.

"You foolish boy." He said before holding his seraph blade up, trying to attack Alec. I quickly pushed Alec behind me whilst holding my hands up. A energy source came out of me, pushing back Agramon harsh which made him fall down.

Valentine and Jonathan stepped a few steps backwards by the enormous blow and I could feel Alec breath heavily against my skin.

A rush of adrenaline went through my body when I made the first move of attacking Agramon. I knew that it was going start anytime soon. I knew that I had to end all of this. The world would be a saver place without him, Jonathan and Valentine.

I needed to get rid of the three of them.

"How?" Agramon asked confused and terrified at the same time while he stood up. I sighed out deeply before smirking at him.

"I told you to not underestimate me." I simply replied and he shook his head before glancing over at Jonathan who seemed to be a bit terrified by his death glare.

"I told you to get rid of Alec. That is the source of her energy!" Agramon shouted and I slightly widened my eyes. I turned myself around, looking directly into his beautiful eyes.

"I have always loved you. I need you to believe me that I never ever stopped loving you..." I said softly and quickly. Alec caressed my cheek and nodded his head.

"I know... I love you too." He replied and he hugged me tightly as if this was the last time. It was probably going to be my last time...

My last time holding him.

"You need to get out of here. Please..." I begged him and Alec shook his head.

"I won't leave you alone here." He replied and I sighed out of frustration.

"Please..." I begged and he cupped my cheek while looking me deeply into my eyes.

"I won't leave you..." He spoke word by word and I exhaled sharply. I was trembling slightly while holding him and he noticed that.

"No matter what happens. We will get through this together..." He said and I nodded my head slowly.

"No matter what happens..." I spoke quietly. He weakly smiled at me and then looked up at Jonathan who started to transform into this demon like dragon.

I quickly turned myself around to see what he was looking at and my eyes widened. I turned myself around, looking at Alec. Before we even said something, Alec tightly held my hand and we ran away as fast as we could.

My heart was pounding in my chest and I feared for what was going to happen next. I stumbled and almost tripped over, causing me to almost let go of Alec's hand.

"Hurry up!" Alec shouted in fear. I knew that he was more afraid for me than himself. Maybe that was the weakness in our relationship.

We would die for one another.

"We need to go our separate ways. He will keep on following us together. We need to take him out smartly..." I said and turned myself around, seeing Jonathan flying in his demon like up in the clouds. He was getting closer to us by each second.

"But Clary... What if something happens to you?" He asked and I smiled weakly at him.

"You heard Agramon. You are the source of my power... Your love gives me that. Don't worry and keep yourself safe." I said and Alec pulled me into a kiss.

He harshly brushed his lips against mine and I mumbled, "I love you." against his lips. I could feel his warm tears sliding down his cheeks and I sobbed softly myself. My heart broke, knowing that we are always put in a situation like this.

"I love you too..." He whispered softly. I nodded my head as I saw him disappearing towards the beach and I, myself, ran towards the forest that was attached with the beach.

This was our best shot at getting Jonathan. The best shot of getting him killed. He would never expect us to actually separate. He knew me too well for that. I ran as I saw him coming my way.

I was panting so loudly that I could feel my heart beat up my throat. I ran and ran as my red fiery hair kept on flying back each time, going over my shoulders. I grunted when I tripped over a tree branch and fell over hard. I quickly turned myself around, seeing Jonathan closer to me.

He was just flying up my body and as I tried getting to him, I saw him getting ready to attack me. I widened my eyes slightly, not believing how he was actually ready to kill his own sister but then again, he tried killing Jace... He killed our mother... He was nothing than just a emotionless monster just like our father was.

I gasped softly when I saw arrows flying. I looked beside me where an arrow flew and my heart sank. That was Alec's. I looked again towards the direction where it came from and saw Alec releasing multiple arrows, trying to get Jonathan's attention.

"Alec! Don't!" I shouted in fear but I was already late. Jonathan turned himself around, flying towards Alec's direction.

Alec stood still as he focused his arrow on Jonathan. He was sure that he was going to get him. I could see it from his expression but when the arrow went right past Jonathan, Alec's face froze. He gasped softly and turned himself quickly around, making a run for it.

My legs felt weak and my heart was beating rapidly. I quickly ran towards them. It felt like everything happened in a slow manner of time. I couldn't catch up with them. I couldn't get to him.

I was not going to make it...
