Over the last two months, I have pretty much kept to myself as I put all my focus into designing Destiny's wedding dress. She wanted something simple which I didn't mind but I made the decision to hand sew the dress which took me a long time to do. I also sewed the bridesmaids dresses but I used a machine instead.
"Mateo." I grab my brother by the ear and I pull him out of the hall. "Stop going into the hall."
Mateo and Destiny booked a Chateau in France for their wedding and it is honestly so beautiful. As happy as I am for my brother, he has been annoying the hell out of me. He keeps walking into the hall to greet people and take selfies even though it isn't time for us to walk down the aisle yet.
"Relax." Mateo slaps my hand away. "I'm just making sure that everything is yet."
The guys chuckle at this because we all saw him taking selfies. I don't blame him since this is a big moment, I just wish that he would wait till after since he has the booked the chateau for two days.
"My man." Draymond Green pats Mateo's back. "You're officially about to be off the market."
"I know." Mateo smiles but I can see the nerves that he is trying to disguise.
"It's a new day." Anthony Davis steps into view. "Just make sure to do right by Destiny as she will with you."
One thing that I am grateful for is the fact that I am part of the wedding party. My brother chose Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving and Stephen Curry as his groomsmen.
And I'm the best man.
