Nights on the New Supremacy were surprisingly comforting. I had always found it easy to fall asleep in the cold, so I never had to worry about sleepless nights. Well, at least more than usual. Nightmares tended to be a common occurrence, unfortunately.
There wasn't really much that I could do about them here, seeing as I wasn't on Naboo anymore. I used to drink Deychin tea back on Naboo, which would help me sleep at night.
Sadly I didn't have that here, but I had Kylo, which usually helped. But not all the time. And tonight was one of those nights.
"Y/n." A voice called. I opened my eyes in the dream, only to see that I was back on Naboo. I smiled slightly at the familiar city and my cottage, which was only a few feet away from me. I peered around to see who was responsible for the voice but there was no one around. Shrugging, I made my way over towards the cottage and gently placed my hand on the doorknob. I pushed it open, only to be swallowed completely in darkness. I yelled but soon regained my footing as I glanced around.
Was this a throne room? It was as dark as a cave, and there were various stone statues placed throughout the entirety of the structure.
I jumped as a strike of lightning cracked the ground several yards away from me, causing my brows to furrow.
Where was I? I walked through this mysterious place. My eyes scanned the room as I let out a gasp. Tanks lined the side of the room, filled with what resembled dead bodies. I gingerly stepped over to one of them, my eyes widening at what was inside.
It appeared to be Snoke, but he was mangled, and very obviously dead. I scanned the other ones, noticing that they were filled with the same thing. Dead bodies. I was starting to freak out as I quickly ran over to each one, not caring about how loud I was being. Creatures were walking past me, ignoring my presence.
I made my way over to what appeared to be the throne, taking in shaky breaths as I looked for an escape. Numerous tubes appeared to protrude from behind the throne. This couldn't be good. I stumbled as I felt a weak force signature. I carefully crept to the front of the throne, letting out a small shriek as I covered my mouth. There was a deformed old man hanging from the tubes. "Who are you!?" I whispered, surprised by my confidence.
The old man chuckled, causing me to shrink back in fear. "You'll soon find out, my dear." He spoke, his voice cracking at several words. "I know who you are, y/n, and you have nothing to fear. You have nothing to hide." He stated calmly, making a face that could either be a smirk or a smile, I couldn't tell. My stomach felt uneasy, but I couldn't move.
"How do you know who I am?" I yelled, balling my fists at my side. He chuckled again, gazing down at me with white eyes. "I know lots of things, my dear. I know more about yourself than you could ever understand." He stated, seemingly entertained by my reactions.
When I didn't say anything in return, he continued. "I take it you already know about the prophecy, hm?" He asked casually. I glanced back up at him. "Do you believe it?" I questioned him unsurely. He smirked down at me.
That was exactly what he wanted to hear.
"I believe that it was predicted, but it's not going to happen, I'll make sure of that." He answered. I smiled slightly. I didn't know who he was, what his plan was, or what side he was on, but we both had the same goal. We both wanted to stop the prophecy, and maybe we could help each other.
"Are you going to save us, me & Ben?" I asked hopefully. He glanced down at me.
"You don't understand me. I can't have you both alive. As long as you're together, the prophecy will come true. One of you will live, and they will become my apprentice." He replied with a taunting sneer. My eyes widened.
