I gasped in discomfort as I felt the last bandage being wrapped around my thigh, glancing over to see Ben closely monitoring the process. It was nightfall now, and everyone was already at the feast. Leia had put together a massive festival celebration and requested a complete recall of what had happened in the temple.

I graciously agreed, but anxiety grew as I dreaded having to remember what happened.

Although we had won, the story of how was not so great.

"You're good to go, y/n. See you at the feast!" Lia announced, beaming at me and Ben before quickly rushing away to attend to her next patient. Ben nodded toward her gratefully, his gaze then turning down to look at me. I smiled up at him, swinging my legs over the side of the bed and hopping off with a small wince.

"I'm fine," I muttered, grabbing Ben's hand as I could see his worried expression out of the corner of my eye. The celebrations hadn't died down very much at all, which made it hard to find people.

We hurriedly paced through the crowd, making our way to the much larger one at the feast.

"At last. Y/n, Ben, you're here!" Leia announced loudly, causing the chatter to fall silent. I smiled at her, slightly uncomfortable with the attention. Ben stood frozen, eyes wide with surprise. I hastily pulled him with me as we strode over to Leia. I noticed Rey, Finn, Poe, Lia, & Kiaran all sitting next to each other with a black-haired girl that I didn't recognize.

"Now, y/n, I think we would all like to know everything that happened." Leia urged kindly, a hint of excitement and alacrity in her voice. I nodded, sitting down next to Rey with Ben on my right. Rey glanced over at me with a smile, turning around to listen. Most of the crowd was now listening, pausing their feasting.

"It was terrifying, running into that temple with Rey." I began slightly awkwardly, clearing my throat as I peered around at everyone. "Of course we had an idea of what we were running into, but the sheer power and evil in that room..." I sighed, taking in another breath.

"There was a whole stadium full of Sith followers, chanting at us as we entered. Then we saw him. P-Palpatine." I explained, feeling Ben's hand slide into my own.

"He tried to turn us, but obviously failed," I continued, earning a chuckle from a few people. My smile disappeared, and I felt a chill make its way throughout my body. "He tried to convince me to kill Rey." Murmurs.

"I tricked him. At the last moment, I threw my lightsaber into one of his guards, starting a fight. We killed them all, and that's when I saw Ben." I announced, a smile returning to my lips as I gazed over at him. "He fought with us," I remarked loudly, frowning again at the next part.

"But Palpatine was too strong." I spoke, biting my lip as I glanced over at Rey, remembering the next part.

"H-He said something to Rey, the-then he," I stuttered, taking in a deep breath.

"We thought she was dead." I finally blurted out.

"We kept resisting him, which made him mad." I whispered, looking away from everyone's sympathizing gazes. "He tortured us." Leia looked away, her gaze transfixed on the ground as she held Rey.

"Suddenly, it didn't affect me. It made me stronger. It was so weird. As soon as Palpatine realized this, he stopped." I spoke, only now realizing how strange that really was.

"We got our lightsabers back and used them against him. We conjoined them together into a cross shape, reflecting the lightning onto him. That's what killed him. And he didn't just die, he kinda exploded." I announced, bitting the inside of my lips as I glanced over at Rey.
