Ring! Ring! Ring! The clock on the table, with its red glaring numbers that read six am, shook about in sync with the noise that screeched from its low-quality speakers. A hand, veiny, tanned and slightly slender, shot out and smacked the technology, causing for it to fling across the room; its plug snapped from the power point; the clock silenced and the room became peaceful once again.
Without the irritating ringing, the young male continued sleeping peacefully. It was said that a sleeping person always looked younger than they were. Despite being around twenty-one, while the man's eyelids were closed over his sea-green eyes and his black hair was slightly messed-up, he looked much younger, about eighteen.
He was sprawled across a queen-sized bed that was adorned with a huge, turquoise diamond-patterned doona and light grey sheets. The pillow that he laid upon was covered in white, and looked to be filled with a very soft type of material, possibly wool.
A door to the room slowly creaked open, and a warm, yellow-like light pooled into the room. It danced across the young man's face. He bought his hands up to his eyes and began rubbing them. Afterwards, he pushed his body into a sitting position, stretched his arms and let a deep, slightly husky yawn.
"I'm awake," he muttered, as he glanced towards the open doorway. "It's okay, Jay."
The person, the black haired man was referring to, was a tall, and muscular man with closely cropped golden blonde hair and deep blue eyes that were reminiscent of the sky. He wore a dark green body tight top and a pair of black jeans. In his hands was a tray of piping hot food that was a variety of colours. The aroma of it reminded the black haired man of the breakfasts his mum would make him.
"I thought you'd be a little sore from last night," Jason admitted sheepishly as he made his way to the bed. "You feeling alright, Perce?"
Percy gave a slight nod. "I don't feel any pain," he laughed. "Last night was fun, don't stress it."
Jason placed the tray on the bedside table and moved beside Percy. He ducked under the covers and hugged the darker haired man.
"If you say so," the blonde said before pulling away. He grabbed the tray and placed it on their laps.
Now that the tray was a lot closer, Percy could see that there were thick, fluffy blue pancakes and an assortment of fruit: grapes, apples, bananas and pears. Beside the pancakes was a little mig of coffee and some crispy, almost black bacon. Percy sniffed, a delightful look sparking in his green eyes. He stretched out a hand and snatched a piece of bacon off the tray. Biting into it, he couldn't help but moan at the rich, salty taste that exploded on his tastebuds.
"This is a beast," Percy told Jason. "Thanks babe."
Jason chuckled, grabbing a piece for himself. "Wait until you try the pancakes," he joked. "You'd have me cooking food for you forever."
"That I can manage," Percy laughed shortly after finishing the bacon. His elbow slightly nudgedJason's arm. "So, have you gotten anything wild planned for tonight?"
Jason ruffled Percy's hair; a smirk formed on his face. "Patience darling," he drawled. "Good things come to those who wait." He turned back to the food. "Now, let's finish breakfast. Annabeth wants to see us later."
Percy perked up at this. He hadn't seen his ex girlfriend, still close friend in a few months. They all gotten so busy with college and considering they lived hours away, it wasn't the easiest to plan outings.
"Is Piper gonna be there?" Percy asked, his voice laced with curiousity.
"Annabeth and her are dating now," Jason said. "Of course she'll be there."
"Okay," Percy said. "I haven't seen those two in ages and I really missed them."

Hi guys and gals and everyone else.
I hope you have all been managing okay since I last posted. Here's a little thing i hope you all enjoyed. I'm sorry it's taken me a while to write something up.
I've been working on a few other projects, alongside uni and the full time job of trying to manage my mental and physical health. Adulting really sucks. Job searching sucks to due to this pandemic.
My headaches have gotten a little worse these past couple of weeks and it's been extra hard trying to manage the day to day with them, alongside the feeling of wanting to be sick. I've always had bad headaches that usually turn into migraines but lately, yeah, they've been not so manageable.
Oh, and, my state in Australia has had a rise of Covid cases now. The only reasons why it got into my state after we managed to flatten it was because people from another state all lied on their legal documents then proceeded to travel to shops etc even after they were tested. Kinda sucks that people don't care for others. The city I live in is currently in the smack bang middle of the covid mess.
But yeah, I hope you are managing to save safe. And for the love of it all, wash your hands.
Arya
