Epilogue

"I wished for your happiness. Alam kong sobra kitang nasaktan sa lahat nang nagawa ko, and I'm sorry. I don't even deserve you, you are too much for me. Please, make yourself happy." that is his wish for me. Hindi ako nakapagsalita. Magiging masaya pa ba ako pagkatapos nito?

"Hey. Can I ask you a favor?" lumingon ako sa kaniya. Kagaya ko, umiiyak din siya pero pinipilit niyang mag salita.

"Yeah." tumango ako.

" I want you to be there...at my wedding." I was stunned.

"Why would I---"

"Please. I want you to be there." I glared at him. How could I attend his damn wedding?! Iniisip ko palang, para na akong namatayan!

"Kienn this is too much."

"Okay. I won't marry her then." he is talking about like it is not a fucking big deal!

"Tangina mo Kienn." mahinang bulong ko.

"Can't we just not see each other after this?!"

"I want you to be there Winter. Malay mo! Mag bago ang isip mo sa mismong kasal tapos ipapatigil mo yung kasal---" binatukan ko siya.

"Tumahimik ka na!" sigaw ko. Tumawa siya. It's like we are just messing around with each other.

"I'm leaving next week." natahimik siya.

"I'll ask you one more time...do you really want me to go?" his eyes are full of hope.

Dahan-dahan akong tumango.

"Okay." he typed something on his phone.

"Hello? Yssa?" hindi siya lumayo sakin while talking to his phone.

"Schedule the wedding. I want it before Winter leaves." he ended the call.

"You really are unbelievable." manghang sabi ko.

"I'm not kidding Winter. I want you to be there." he is really fucking serious.

"Do you really want me to suffer?!"

"No. I just want to see you there one last time." bumuntong hininga ako.

"Fine. Leave me alone for now."

"Thanks for this day. This is our last celebration I guess? See you at the wedding." he open his arms for me. Tumayo ako at niyakap siya ng mahigpit.

"I promise. I will never regret my decisions. I love you." kumalas na ako at tumalikod. I heard him close the door. Naupo ako sa sofa at nag simula nanamang tumulo ang mga luha ko habang nakatitig sa cake na walang bawas.

"Winter!" pumasok si Grace at Janine sa condo.

"You alright?" tumango ako. At least maayos na ngayon ang pangyayari. We even celebrated our last monthsary.

"Kinausap kami ni Kienn kaninang umaga. He wants to talk to you...pinayagan namin siya kaya hindi na muna kami umuwi kanina. The two of you needs a closure." tumango ako at pinilit na ngumiti sa kanila.

"It's okay. It went well. We officially broke up." umiyak ako sa harap nila. They just let me cry.

"Good news." pinunasan ko ang luha ko at pinilit na ngumiti.

"He even invited me at his wedding!" tumawa ako. Parehong nag mura naman ang dalawa.

"Tangina."

"Matutulog na muna ako. Alam nyo na beauty rest! Pipili pa ako ng damit ko para sa kasal eh!" tumayo ako at tumawa. They are just staring at me.

"Kumain ka muna." si Grace. Umiling ako.
