Everybody was back at the loft for Monday night dinner again and Rachel had invited the girl who was supposedly going to write her script for the TV show she was planning. Whilst skeptically waiting for her to arrive, Katy skipped over to Sam with a plate of egg rolls and beamed at him as she offered him one.

Declining her offer with a smile, Sam sat down on the couch next to her as he pushed the plate away, "oh, no thanks. Huge audition this week for Treasure Trailz. They're kinda like on the forefront of the manscaping movement. I mean they're going all out: billboards, print, bus ads. My dream of being almost naked on a public bus is this close to coming true."

"Well I'm really proud of you." Katy grinned, taking his hand and giving it a squeeze, "though you know, I'm gonna be spray painting 'mine' all over those ads. I'll travel the country — find all of them and brag about how I got so lucky to the nearest unsuspecting human."

"Solid plan. Seems pretty thought out." Sam laughed, wrapping his arms around her shoulders and cuddling into her side.

Resting her head on top of his, she shrugged her shoulders slightly, "definitely." She said through a small giggle.

Coming over to the couch where Sam and Katy were cuddled up, Rachel beamed excitedly at them as she paced the floor, waiting for the writer to arrive, "see? This is what my show needs to be about! Old friends struggling to make it in this world."

"Is it normal for a network to send a writer to hang out with the star to figure out the show?" Artie asked.

"Only when the star's incredibly interesting." Rachel shrugged, making Katy roll her eyes playfully.

"Rachel Berry, forever modest." She teased, throwing a wink her way as Rachel turned round to stick her tongue out at her.

"Mary Halloran is a genius. She wrote her first script when she was fourteen years old." She insisted, busying herself with putting plates out on the table to hide her nerves.

"Ten dollars on her being a complete weirdo." Sam whispered into Katy's ear.

"You're on." She whispered back, playing it off as flirting with Rachel sent a warning glare their way.

Raising his eyebrow slightly over at Blaine, Kurt was still skeptical over the whole idea, "yeah, I just don't like the idea of someone crashing Monday night dinner."

Giving him a slightly scolding glance, Rachel was seemingly desperate for this meeting to go well, "no, but the point is for her to really see my life and understand my essence and you guys are so much about that besides my work, my talent and my ambition." She told them, widening her eyes and rushing to the door as she heard a loud knock, "okay, you guys, be really nice, I don't want her to feel alienated."
