Everyone had been called to an emergency glee club meetings because Dalton Academy has burnt to the ground. Blaine and the Warblers has joined them at Mckinley, where a plan was going to be revealed. Katy was stood next to Blaine, with her arm around his shoulder, knowing how much he was struggling with the emotions that were running through his mind.

She could see that some members of the new directions were more okay with this than others, Jane — who'd previously been rejected from the Warblers for being a girl — was pursing her lips and had her arms folded across her chest, knowing better than to protest in any way.

"I've gathered you all here today because Blaine, Kurt and I have been talking, and although just a moment ago, we could only see the Warblers as our competition, now it's time to see them as a friend and an ally." Mr Schue began, seriously, nodding over to the Warblers, who were awkwardly huddled over by the piano, "we have made the decision to make some lemonade with these lemons and join together as a show choir super group. This is an opportunity for all of us, we need them just as much as they need us." He told them as wondrous chatter echoed round the room.

Kitty stood forward to speak up, with a small frown on her face, "where's Rachel? Shouldn't she be here for this?"

"She's in New York on some business, but she'll be back soon and she's totally on board with the plan." Mr Schue confirmed.

"Well okay." Kitty smiled, giving the Warblers a friendly grin. Katy smiled to herself, she could easily see Kitty becoming a leading figure in this new group. She had everything that was needed, she had experience, she had the passion and the talent and she always seemed to know what to say, when no one else did.

With Kitty's lead, the new directions got up from their seats, holding their hands out with welcoming smiles, eager to introduce themselves to the new members or their group.

"Thank you so much, Mr Schue, for your generosity." Blaine said gratefully over the chatter, "its in times like these that we can find comfort in the kindness of our friends."

"It's gonna be a challenge for all of us to move forward, but I know we can do this. And I think it's so amazing that the Warblers passion for show choir is stronger than ever. Because we're really gonna need that strength and commitment, not only to win sectionals, but to take it all the way to nationals this year!"

Their cheering was interrupted by Sue's loud claps, echoing sarcastically into the room, making everyone turn to look her way, "I'm sorry, but the aroma of overly dry-cleaned polyester uniforms just wafted into my office and up my extremely sensitive nose and I can see why now. The glee club is hosting the Lima Gay Men's Chorus."

"Sue." Katy scolded quietly, as one of the Warblers whipped off his shoe, ready to throw at her, "you know these are the Warblers."

Continuing on from her, Mr Schue stood forward, making Katy pinch the bridge of her nose, "they're at Mckinley now. They're part of the new directions."
