"What happened?" takang tanong ni Winter nang makalapit sa kanila at umupo sa katabing upuan ni Skeira. "What's WiRo?" Wala man emosyon sa mukha ng dalaga ngunit mahihimigan ang pagtataka sa boses nito.

Nagkatinginan sina Alexilia, Raide at Skeira dahil dito. "Naku! Wala, nagkukulitan lang ang dalawa!" ani ni Alexilia. Sinulyapan ni Winter sina Hero at Zevious na nagtatakbuhan pa rin. "I never thought Hero can be this jolly." And another laughters roared making the two — Hero and Zevious stopped and walk towards them.

"Why are you laughing?" Hero asked, his forehead is slightly creasing.

Wala namang sumagot dito. "Anyways..." Lahat sila ay napatingin kay Winter. "Impératrice amd Empereur needs me, I have to go."

Nakaramdam naman ng lungkot si Samantha at humigpit ang hawak sa kamay ni Winter dahilan upang balingan siya nito ng puno ng pagtataka, maging ang iba ay napatingin kay Samantha.

"Ate Winter... dito ka muna po..."

Pekeng umubo si Hero at nilapitan ang kapatid upang buhatin. "Ate Winter can't, she needs to do something important, Sammy," mahinahong paliwanag niya sa kapatid.

Ngumuso si Samantha at nagsimula nang mamasa ang kaniyang mata. "Much important than me? To us?"

Everyone stilled, but not Winter who let a low chuckle before getting Samantha from Hero's arm. "Of course, you are much important to them... you are my friend, while Luxiel and Harlio is just my boss, higher than me... meaning, I have to follow them, I need to be like a slave who has a class." She, then, sighed and smiled, caressing Samantha's golden hair. "Yes, they are important, because they are my obligations, I vowed to them that I'll be one call away when they need me, and now that they need me, I have to leave you for awhile."

Samantha pouted even more. "If the impératrice and empereur is your obligations, then what are we for you?"

"My priorities."

MALALIM na ang gabi, ngunit ni-isa kina Alexilia, Zevious, Raide, Hero at Skeira walang makatulog. Pare-parehong nakatanaw sa madilim na kalangitan, iniisip ang iisang tao. Winter Frost.

"Good morning," Zevious greeted his family at the dining.

Zevious crooked a smile and went beside his sister, Marianne Zeilyx. "Where's dad?" he asked as soon as he sat down.

Eirya sipped on her tea cup and shrugged. "Well, he has a meeting to attend, since you're busy being with your friends."

Eirya saw how Zevious stilled. She faked coughed and put her tea cup beside her plate. "And he's happy with it," she added.

"Mom?" Zevious said, confused.

Eirya shrugged her shoulders, smilling softly at her son. "He's fine with it. Ilang taon ka na rin daw kasi nakababad sa mga trabaho at nakalimutan mo na madalas ang mga kaibigan mo. Actually, he's thankful Winter came in our town, may pagkaka-abalahan ka na raw na iba," she chuckled.
