The Mystery of Unknown Lady, who is she, what is her race and her role in this world? "She's still unknown, even her race, while her role is probably to confirm if the mates they think were their mates in vampire race are the real mates," Hero murmured while tapping his pen on his desk.

"The curse, who cursed us? Why did he curse us?" he mumbled and sighed. "This...is giving me a headache." He, then, shook his head and stare at the paper where he wrote things he noticed and realized.

The unknown lady might be or might not be his mate. His heart beats first for Alexilia but, it never happened again until Winter came and it happen several times that he lost count. But, those heartbeats may be loud but, only him who can hear and feel it. Then, the unknown lady came when intruders came to them and his heart beats loudly, and they all assumed that she is his mate. But there's something wrong. Hero thought and rest his back on his seat's backrest.

"Winter was there..." he whispered and pursed his lips. "Fuck, why am I even thinking about her?"  He closed his eyes tightly and puffed out a breath and opened his eyes and it darted on the small box that contains a thin silver-gold ring with a small touch of blue and has a engraved of a snowflake and a bow and an arrow crossing to the snowflake, making the snowflake looks like inside the bow.

Bow and arrow is the Archer family's insignia, "then, whose the snowflake?" Hero frowned and bit his lower lip. "Snowflake..." he murmured and sighed when he can't understand anything.

Hero stared at nowhere and a certain scenario crossed in his mind. When Winter vanished after they smell a scent of human that vanished a seconds after Winter went gone, the same time Hero started vomiting as he went back to their palace. It left him dumbfounded, he doesn't know why he vomited and why he didn't drink for hours. But, what stunned him, he tasted a blood that suits to his taste. A blood that no one can defeated.

Unknowingly, Hero's eyes turned into red and suddenly his thirst intensified. He gulped and started calming himself and when he calmed, he remembers when Alexilia revealed his mate's name.

"Hezéllaire..."

WINTER LOUDLY puffed out a breath and closed her eyes tightly when she accidentally bit her tongue when she was supposed to chew.

"Someone's thinking about me," she utter and get a glass of water and drink it straightly.

She, then, put it back on its place and rest her back at the seat's backrest and looked at peaceful dark gray skies. "Should I go there already?" she asked herself, pertaining to the house of Impératrice and Empereur where she leave Jiane because she have some errands to do.

Winter stared at nowhere thinking random things when she already have decided to fetch Jiane on Impératrice and Empereur's house.

A cold breeze almost stumble her from the ground. She giggled and shook her head as she vanished into thin bluish-purple smoke that brought her to Jiane's whereabouts.

"—you mean—"

"I'm here," Winter cutted Harlio's sentence.

"Oh!" Luxiel gasps and her eyes widens. "You're here already!"

Winter smirked and glance on Jiane who's staring at her. She frowned. "You have a problem with them?" she asked and slightly cocked her head to Luxiel and Harlio who both grimaced.

"No, nothing," Jiane smiled.

Winter nodded but, not buying what Jiane said. She turned her attention to Luxiel and blinked. Luxiel gulped and smiled nervously to her as she griped on Harlio's arm.
