𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 | 𝐉𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐫

T W E N T Y - T H R E E

i cried and cried, trying to sleep but i just couldnt. i decided to try one last time. i tugged as hard as i could, making me whine from the pain in both my wrists. i finally grabbed it.

typing with one hand was hard but i managed. i quickly typed in joshs number, unable to speak. i texted the address and heard someone walking towards the room again. i dropped the phone and laid back.

a man walked in and smirked. i noticed his hands behind his back. he walked over and put a cloth over my mouth making it hard to breathe.

josh's pov:
a random number texted me so i quickly opened it. it had an address on it which really confused me. i searched it up and it looked like an abandoned house. then i got an idea.

i ran downstairs and into the living room.

jsh: "dixie!! do you recognize this?!"

i showed her the pictures and she burst into tears while nodding. i ran out to my car, not letting anyone follow me. i drove as fast as i could.

i drove into a random place where there was no cars and it looked completely empty. i opened the car door and ran in. it was dead silent so i walked into tons of rooms but nothing. then i saw one room i didnt go into. i walked in and saw kai handcuffed to the bed, tears stained on her face, and a bloody sheet covering her arm.

i lowly gasped but ran over to her. i saw a key in the corner of the room so i ran to grab it. i immediately uncuffed her wrist and picked up her other one only to see blood all over it. tears filled my eyes as i picked up her small body and carried her to my car.

i laid her in the back seat and drove home.

i got out my car and picked up her small body again and burst the door open. everyone stared at me then came running over. i brought her into the kitchen, trying to clean the cuts on her wrist. the hickeys and bruises were very obvious which made everyone afraid to even get close. jaden ran down the stairs and stopped as soon as he saw her.

hurt filled his eyes. he burst into tears like the rest of us.

the cuts on her arm, definetly a blade. they were deep and placed in a row. way to many to count. she was drugged clearly. she didnt have any reactions due to her being unconscious so it made everything a little easier. we quickly cleaned her cuts and i carried her back upstairs, jaden following.

jsh: "c-can you change h-her?"
j: "yeah, yeah of course"

i walked out while jaden grabbed a pair of my clothes from my closet.

jaden's pov:
i grabbed a pair of josh's sweat pants and one of my hoodies. i slowly took off her shorts, looking at every cut, hickey and bruise on her. everytime i saw it, it broke my heart a little more. i quickly slid on the sweat pants and placed the hoodie onto her body. i sat on the little couch in the guest room while waiting for her to wake up.

after a few hours she woke up but she wasnt herself. she gasped and immediately scooted back into the headboard.

j: "hey hey its just me. im not gonna hurt you"

i slowly walked towards her while her breathing quickened.

j: "baby i swear, its just me. i swear im not gonna hurt you princess"

she cried and cried while flinching at my every move. i wanted to hold her so bad. i wanted to hold her and tell her that everything would be completely fine.

i knew she needed space so i carefully walked out and downstairs.

jsh: "what happened?!"
j: "shes awake, just scared of everything right now"
jsh: "even you?"
j: "y-yeah"

i walked back in and saw her crying again. now it was getting very dark and she was still scared. i walked over to the side of the bed and she flinched again. it broke my heart to see her like this.

i watched as she pulled her knees to her chest and sobbed into them. she hadnt spoken this whole time though.

i turned around and started to head for the door until she softly grabbed my hand.

k: "p-please dont l-leave me. i d-dont w-wanna go a-again"

i softly smiled and sat next to her. i saw her flinch a little bit but she quickly got used to it.

k: "p-please"

she said while gently tugging on my hand. i crawled next to her and she came into my grip. i softly smiled again while she flinched just a little bit. i rubbed slow circles on her back. i knew she was tired so i was just waiting for her to fall asleep.

once i heard her soft, cute snores. i looked down at her, holding on to me like there was no tomorrow.

then i looked over at the door to see josh standing there.

jsh: "how is she doing?"
j: "better but still scared."
jsh: "their searching for peaches right now"
j: "good"
jsh: "i cant lose her again"
j: "neither can i. i felt like i couldnt breathe with her here today"
jsh: "i couldnt think clearly but why dont you get some rest"

i nodded and cuddled my head onto hers. i made sure she was completely okay. then i finally started to close my eyes.
