Lisa pov
Im feeling a hot air was blowing in my face so that I open my eyes and there I see Jennie sleeping facing me. I remember that I stop her for leaving last night cause I'm really not feeling well. I don't know what comes in my mind that I did want to be near her all along. I look at her peacefully sleeping Infront of me. I carefully remove some of her hair stand that was in her face and she moves but stay still, she munching and move closer to me, hug me, I need to look up to avoid her face or otherwise our face were glued at the moment if I didn't. I can feel that her eyes open and and raise her head to take a look. She flinch backward, remove her hand from my body and immediately get up from the bed.
" Uhmm, how long you've been awake?" She ask me awkwardly.
" Just now." I get up from laying " thank you for staying with me last night." I went to my luggage and get some clothes to change. " I'm hungry"
" I had some food here but it need to be reheated" she said still not looking at me.
" Ok, I just change and reheat it." I start to walk to the bathroom," you should too. I meet you in the kitchen." I said before entering the bathroom
Jennie pov
I flinch when I see her looking up because I just wrapping at her like a koala. I know I look like a tomato but when she said she's hungry I feel so soft towards her. I know it's not a direct invite but I know she wanted to have a breakfast with me. I fix myself and headed to the kitchen and I found her there refurbishing and reheating the food.
" How you feeling?" I ask that make her turn around to face me.
" I'm fine, long sleep help" she reply and get back in what she's doing.
"Long sleep? Only that?!" I was mumbling and rolled my eyes. I move closer to her and watch what was she doing.
" Did you say something?" She ask me. I give her a fake smile.
" Nothing, please, make it fast I'm starving."
" Just sit down, I'm almost done" I sit down at the kitchen table waiting. She put Infront of me the plate and I'm amaze in how she do the platting.
" Wow! It's like done of a professional."
She shrug her shoulder and sit Infront of me. We eat on silent, I don't know how to make a conversation towards her and I feel awkward.
" So tomorrow we will be at your office?" She suddenly speak.
" Yeah, jisoo had a call already with the staff so they have an idea that we are here and who you are."
"Who am I anyway" she said coldly.
I look at her, even she so cold and look tough but her self esteem was downgrade bacause of my father's treatment. Oh I hate that man! " Your Lalisa Manoban, chairwoman of the biggest company in Asia in terms of construction and communications. Anyone wants to be you Lisa." I said with my most praising voice just to boast her confidence. I see that she look at me, but look down again in her food.
" That company, was a Kim. And I am a Manoban." For the first time since we been separated she pout Infront of me. I smiled as I feel my heart soften for her.
" You might not a Kim by blood but our grandfather trusted you very well that make you a better person that more than a Kim can be, Lisa" I softly said. " And actually, I am very proud of you" she raise her head and her eyes meet mine. And for the very first for like a very long time since that eyes look at me the same way she's looking at me now.
" Thank you" she said and she smile at me genuinely. " It's not just the long sleep help me from last night" she continues talking but move her gaze away from me. " You still had that best medicine" and she continues to chew her food. I giggled inside, I bite my inner check to suppress a smile that wanted to form in my lips, I don't want her to notice that I'm so whipped towards her. But I kind a like this, we having a casual conversation, I hope it will continue for we will living and working for maybe a long period of time.
