I have been writing about my life as the hunter not the hunted like the humans. I sadly have an odd existence I am "human" in daylight but when the sun sets I am....the animal

It sounds odd but that is what I am, a simple challenge I have been trained to kill and to change, adapt into anything. My mom is the headmistress of the SLAY academy, both boys and girls attend there we are trained to bait ourselves and learn to adapt and look normal but most importantly to not attract attention to ourselves. I am not ordinary neither is my brother, sister's nor my mother. Our people have lived on a hidden island for almost 5 thousand years and the humans have still to find us. I am a hunter, an animal, a shape shifter. My "human" name is Emma but my native name is Zanara. I have lived among humans for almost 8 years. I have two younger sisters Zacara who's human name is Sara and Karah who's human name is Alice, finally a brother Hari and his human name is Jon. I am the eldest then Zacara, Hari and finally the youngest Karah. The many names are hard to remember but I have an identic memory so I forget not. I wish you to remember if anything their native names. I hope you are keeping this and my future letters in a safe place. You should not know about their human names but I'm sure that the names are common but I have no idea for I have lived on a hidden island as I told you in my letter. First you must know my kind is different but I am not the only one with the secret for there are vampires, werewolves, unicorns. Heck I have friends trying to get Nessie out of Scotland and finding Sasquatch for these are no easy tasks but have been successful before. My mother prefers the men of our kind to hunt and kill the vampires and werewolves. I told her not, I will never look for a unicorn with my friends for I wanted to hunt. For food shape shifters normally turn into the lower part of the food chain and then they eat the lowest animal in the food chain. Then we rotate from the higher part of the food chain. We crave blood like vampires but we can live without human blood and we don't have theories on how to kill us. We consider the vampires to do very sloppy work and they always leave evidence and then they don't even try to hide they are in plain sight.

I have a huge ordeal tonight I will lure the alpha of a nearby pack of werewolves, there are only three I haven't killed and he is one of them. In human form his name is Hunter, common name for a werewolf alpha because his name states what he thinks he is. The other two wolves are Kye, and Juan to them it's the meaning that matter Juan is the killer of the pack and must finish what he started while Kye is the brains and is considered one with nature as the girls on the block put it. Tonight I have made sure one of Hunter's brothers set up a blind date with him and I, my plan is to take Hunter into the forest and I know that he will lead me there first because they need to stay hidden when the transformation takes place. But things will go differently because I know how to kill a werewolf. First go into their trap they will normally be desperate to get the blood and that is the number one best distraction I can get, then you have to take a knife and stab them. Then they become very weak from the cut of their neck and bleed out black blood. If you don't have a knife handy an axe will do fine you could just chop off their head but may I mind you it must be silver. The story behind silver is when Judas betrayed Jesus his reward was 30 pieces of silver at that moment those pieces became cursed and a symbol of betraying God over evil and silver became the curse upon the cursed.

That night I ran out in a rush hoping I wouldn't be late for my kill, I had put on my lilac perfume the werewolves couldn't resist it. I grabbed my red cloak made sure my curled brown hair was perfect and grabbed my belt of knives and hunting boots. They were old and tattered but would have to do. Outside I met my partner in crime and my best friend Jelani who's human name is Cody. We have known each other since the beginning of our lives and we went to the academy together. Cody is my backup one of the biggest rules is always have backup especially when trying to kill an alpha.
