Kyle's POV
This wasn't supposed to happen. My parents weren't supposed to come over until 12:00. This is a big step.
Is London ready to meet my parents? She is about to.
I can't imagine the awkwardness London is feeling right now.
My parents come in. They stop and look at London.
"Mom, dad. This is London. London these are my parents."
She smiles and shakes their hand.
I start up a conversation.
"So, um, mom, dad. How is your stay here in LA?"
"Good. Great actually, much better than New York." Dad says.
"Have you been to the beach, yet?" London pipes in. I love that she feels right into the family.
"No. Are they better here than on the east coast?" My mom says.
London nods. "There's a small shopping area on the road near the beach. And there's the best coffee shop there."
London's phone buzz's. "Oh, sorry. I have to go. I'm meeting Quinta at The Bean Bar."
I kiss her goodbye and she leaves. "Nice meeting you guys." She says as she shuts the door.
"I like her." my mom says. "She's a keeper."
"I know."
We start talking for a while then my parents leave. Addie goes with them because they are going out. I choose to stay home.
I dial a number on my phone.
"Is this Kyle?"
"Yes."
"Thanks for calling back. Are you ready to confirm the purchase?"
"Yes I am."
"Ok. That'll be $200. Are you positive?"
"100%."
"Ok. It'll be ready in 2 days. Where would you like us to set it up?"
"The park."
