London's POV
I rush home from Kyle's. I can't believe he didn't tell me that his family was coming! That was the most awkward experience ever!
I'm not even supposed to go to lunch till 12:00. It's 11:00. I should get ready now.
I put my hair in a bun. I go over to my closet. I have nothing to wear. I take put a lot of clothes.
White crop top, over alls. Then I find the perfect one. A sleeveless button up. I put it on with a black skirt.
I go over to my shoes. Heels, wedges, flats! Perfect. Flats it is.
I look over at the time. 11:59! I'm almost late.
I hear my phone buzz.
Are you coming yet? -Q
Yeah, I'm just heading out the door. -L
Hurry up! I have been here for 10 whole minutes! -Q
Calm down. I head to pick out what to wear. -L
Wow London, just wow. -Q
Don't judge me. -L
Oh, I'm judging. Now stop texting and come here! -Q
Fine, calm down. -L
I am calm!!!! -Q
Ok see ya later! -L
See ya! -Q
As I leave my apartment, Kyle comes out.
"Hey, Love. Sorry for that. I thought my parents would come later."
"Don't worry about it. I'm sorry but Quinta is waiting and..."
"This will only take a minute."
"Ok what is it?"
"Well, Love. I was wondering if you would like to go out in 2 days. At the park."
"Yeah sure. Now I really got to go. See ya later."
"See ya, Love."
I go to my car and drive to the Bean Bar. When I get there, Quinta is sitting at a booth. She gets up and carries her purse.
"Quinta, where are you going."
"Oh. I thought you weren't coming." She sits back down and I go over and order. I sit down next to her.
"So, London. I have something to tell you."
"What?"
"I'm seeing someone!"
"Oh my gosh, Quinta! That is so exciting! Who is he?"
"His name is Toby. Toby Davis. I met him at the office. He came in to find something, and we hit it off. We started dating a while later."
"Quinta this is huge! We should have a double date!"
"I love it, London. You have the best ideas!"
We continue to eat and talk for 2 more hours.
