Quinta's POV
I'm going on a date with Toby today. We are going to the park. It's actually a double date with London and Kyle. London and I are meeting our dates there.
I'm at London's house so we can get ready together.
She isn't here yet, she texted me to come over. I'm waiting on her couch, eating her ice cream.
I hear the door open and London comes in.
"Do you like my hair?" She asks.
I look over and see London has cut her hair.
"It looks great! Now, we need to get ready."
She nods and we run over to her closet. She looks confused at the bin on her floor.
"I brought some clothes, too."
She smiles and opens the bin. She sees a cute red sweater and puts it on.
"I hope you are not wearing those pants with that." I say acknowledging her sweatpants.
She widens her eyes. I smile. She shakes her head.
I pull out a crop top from my bin. I need something to put over it.
While London is looking through the bin, she knocks it over.
"Smooth." I say. She laughs. We clean up he clothes and look through more clothes.
She gets a black scarf from her closet. I get overalls from hers.
She gets some leggings to tie the whole thing together.
She walks to the front of her apartment. That's where all of her shoes are.
She throws all of her shoes across the room, while looking for a good pair. She pulls out a pair of combat boots.
I clean up the mess and get a pair of flats.
We head to the bathroom and get out makeup and hair done.
I put my hair in a bun, while London leaves her hair down.
We put some lipgloss on and put on some mascara. As we finish, our phones buzz.
Quinta, are you ready yet? -Toby
Just give us a minute. Where are you, anyway? -Quinta
At Kyle's place. Waiting for you guys. -Toby
I sigh and look over at London. She is texting away.
"We done?" I ask. She doesn't answer.
"Earth to London." She still doesn't answer.
"We are out of ice cream." Her head shots right up.
"WHAT! Quinta, did you eat it all!?"
"I'm kidding, London. You wouldn't answer me, so, are you ready?" She nods. We head over to Kyle's apartment.
Time for our date.
