London's POV
"Yes, Quinta." I say again over the phone. "I did get balloons."
"His present?" She stresses.
"Yes. I got everything. Now can I go?"
"Yes. Just don't forget to be there at 5:00."
"Fine. Ok bye."
Bye."
I hang up. Quinta is stressing over her brother, Mikey's, surprise birthday party.
I grab my keys and leave my apartment. I knock at Kyle's door and he comes out.
We hop into my car and drive to my parents house.
When we get there, we get Scout and some toys. My mom comes down.
"Hey, guys. What are you doing here?"
"Hey, mom. We are taking Scout out to the dog park."
"Oh, well you guys have fun. Your father and I are going to the store."
I say bye and head out.
"Hey, Hun. I'm going to the bathroom, be out in a minute." I smile and head out to the car.
After a couple of minutes, he comes out and we head to the park.
We open the gates and enter the fenced in area.
We sit on a bench and throw the toys around with Scout.
I get up mand play tug of war with him.
"Come on, Scout. Beat her!" Kyle yells. I laugh and continue playing with Scout.
I lose. Sadly.
I throw a ball away for Scout to get. But he doesn't. So I have to.
When I get back, Kyle is nowhere to be seen. I start to worry.
I turn around to see Kyle on one knee.
"London. Will you marry me?"
