Kyle's POV

I don't know what to think about right now. That kiss. She kissed me, but I didn't pull away.

Are we together?

My family is visiting me today. They are probably going to ask if I'm seeing anyone.

I put on a grey shirt and a white cardigan with red stripes.

I hear a knock at my door. I open the door and my family is standing there.

I lived in London with my buddy. My family lived in America while I was in London. They were so excited when I told them I was coming to America.

My whole family concludes of my mom, dad, younger sister Addie (13) Middle brother Neal (15) and oldest sister Veronica (16).

They come inside and look at my apartment. Addie goes over to the TV. Veronica and Neal run to the fridge. I talk to my parents.

"So, how do you like America?" My mom asked.

"I like it. I have a job, a nice apartment. I think I'm doing well."

"Well, son. You have everything you could ask for. Besides a girlfriend." My dad says.

"Actually, I think I do." My parents eyes widen.

"Who is she?" My mom asks.

"Well, her name is London. She lives right next door. Well, she might not be my girlfriend."

"Aw, how come?" My mom asks.

"Well, we kissed. But I don't know if we are together."

"Ask her." My dad says.

"Pardon me."

"Just ask. If she says no, go on another date. If she says yes, go on another date." My dad gets a beer.

"So, just go on a date with her either way?" My dad nods.

I hear a knock at the door. This is the only time I wish it wasn't London.

I open the door. It was London.

"Hey, Love."

"Hey, Kyle. I have a question for you."

"Kyle, where's the bathroom?" Addie yells from the family room.

"The back door."

"Ok, thanks."

"Oh, God. Do you have company over?" London asks. I nod.

"I'll come back later." I grab her arm as she starts to leave.

"No. Just tell me now, Love."

"Ok. Well, I got two tickets to the Carnival at the park. Quinta couldn't go, so I was wondering if you could. It would be like a second date." My eyes widen.

"Um, yeah. Of course, Love. What time?"

"7:00, 2 days from now."

"Yeah. That'll be great, Love." She smiles and says goodbye. I shut the door and turn around.

My whole family looks at me.

"Is that the famous London we heard about?" My father asks. I nod and feel my face burning up. "Well, what did she want?"

"We are going in a second date." They all applaud.

Good thing they didn't do that when London was here.
