Chapter Five: GOD?
I glared at him in astonishment! “God?” My eyes began to water again. The humanoid figure hovered closer towards me “No, I’m not god I’m-“ before he could finish I bluntly ignored him, I heard what he said and realised that he wasn’t ‘God’ but I wanted him to be, at least if I believed that he was, there was a little hope within me that knew just how powerful ‘God’ is and that if he really was ‘God’ he could make everything normal again, “ Please...if you can... turn everything back to the way it was!” As I finished the words, my mouth began to dry up, I knew that could never happen, after all he wasn’t ‘God!’
“Listen!” He commanded. “I cannot do that, but I can help you and explain to you what is going on,” he knelt down and wiped the tears from my eyes, “I need you to be brave, just like your name, I too am not sure why you came here first. You were meant to be taken to the other dimension like the other children but for some reason you came here. I can see that you care about your friends, but if you truly want to help them you’re going to have to help me, my name is Elphis and this is my dimension. The rock that landed on your planet is known in my world as Olympus rock. You see, it is a device conceived by the Gods, its purpose is to search for Gods.” He paused and looked down, “I hope you know your Greek mythology, otherwise none of this is going to make sense!”
