Chapter Nineteen: Maya The Mentor!
The trees were thick and chunky. Not even a stone could cut through it with ease. I looked around for inspiration, if this was earth I would probably find some scrap of metal lying around, but this place was clean. I sat down and pondered for a few second, I was running out of time. Whilst in deep thought I looked over at Maya, maybe he could give me an idea. I paused and spied on him but he could sense my presence watching him and threatened to come and kick me. That’s when it hit me! Back at the tablet, I watched some kind of wolf beast through a flowers eye. If I could just do that again, I could see what he was doing.

I sat on one of the tree trunks and meditated. I entered my spiritual state with ease but now I had to find an organism to connect with. The noise I had made seemed to have scared all the animals away and there weren’t any plants nearby that were in a god position. At that moment a small blue bird flew above me. I could hear its wings flapping in the air. I took another deep breath and seeped into its mind. I was flying and I needed to get it on the ground. I tightened my fists and lifted the m up. I started moving them in a weird motion that just felt natural at the time. At the same time I could sense Maya glaring at me, but I had to block him out. “Listen!” I said to myself. I meditated on that word until finally I gained control of the bird. I commanded it to fly down and land on a tree behind Maya and it did. There! I could see him I zoomed in on his hands to see what he was doing.

He was chopping the trees in half like he had asked me to with his hands, but I knew he could lift the trees with ease, so then why was he chopping them? I smirked to myself at the sudden realisation that he was helping me. What a great teacher he was. He took a deep breaths and then tapped the tree very hard causing it to break. I could do that.... that was the first time I’d said I could do something without complaining.
