Blue woke later that morning, he stretched, his arm still over Red, gently pushing his face into his chest as he did so and yawned.
"Good morning" Blue heard Red say to him, he opened his eyes to see Red was holding the book he'd been reading previously.
He looked up at Red "Morning" he replied, his voice a little raspy.
"Sleep well for the rest of the night?" Red asked as he turned a page,
"Y-Yeah... What time is it?" Blue asked, yawning again.
"Uhh..." Red held his book with one hand, keeping it open with his thumb, and picked up his phone from the bedside table that was next to him "11:24"
"Why didn't you wake me earlier? We've missed the breakfast service" Blue said, his tone sounded genuinely pained.
Red laughed "It's fine, we can order room service, that's on all day.. Besides, I don't think we'll be going anywhere today, have you seen outside?" he said as be gestured towards the balcony.
"Huh?" Blue lifted his head and looked towards the balcony, rain was coming down hard and it looked pretty windy "Oh.." Blue was disappointed, he hoped to take Red somewhere today since he was feeling much better, still a slight sniffle here and there but better.
"You okay there?" Red asked sitting himself up more,
"Yeah, I just hoped to do something today, that's all" Blue replied.
"Oh?" Blue had sparked Red's curiosity,
Blue didn't want to let slip of any ideas he had for the two of them "Oh.. Y'know, just getting out there and seeing more of Alola" he replied with an awkward smile, trying to be as convincing as he could.
"Ah, okay" Red replied,
'Crap, that worked?' Blue thought but didn't think to much on it.
"I think I'm going to shower, it's been a couple of days" he laughed,
"Then go for one, stinky" Red playfully laughed back at him.
Blue got up to his knees and looked at Red, he jokingly pulled a hurt expression." How could you be mean to me?" he said sarcastically and pouted.
Red let out a sigh "You're right.." he placed his book upside down on the bedside table that was next to him "How could I?" he grinned at Blue then wrapped his arms around him and pulled him onto him.
"I'm sorry" Red playfully whispered then leaned into Blue and gently kissing his neck, his hands ran down Blue's back and to his hips.
Blue let out a soft moan, he couldn't help it.
Red brought his face back in front of Blue's and could see the embarrassed arousal on his face "Forgive me?" he asked Blue playfully.
Blue looked away from Red and then back at him, he couldn't keep eye contact but didn't want him to stop so gently shook his head "N-no" he said coyly.
Red giggled softly "Lost your confidence?" he asked knowing exactly what he was doing, he'd picked up on what completely shuts Blue down like this and thought he'd have some fun teasing him.
Blue looked back at Red, his eyes were gentle, like copper on honey. Blue was completely speechless, no one made him feel like this before but with Red he could let his guard down.
'Gahh, I can't do anything... I.. Ahhh' Blue couldn't think straight, he'd completely burnt out.
Red brought his left hand up to Blue's chin and lifted his head "Are you okay? If you want me to stop just say so. I don't want to hurt you in any way okay?" Red said to Blue with his gentle, honeyed tone.
Blue took a deep breath to calm himself down and remembered Daisy's advice of communicating how he felt. "I'm fine.." he said softly "A lot of this is just new to me.. I-I enjoy it but I guess I'm just not used to so much attention yet"
Red sat himself up, supporting Blue in his lap as he did so "I understand, you know I can be the same way, but then I kiss you and I don't want to stop, I just get carried away" Red laughed and his cheeks grew warm.
Blue threw his arms around Red, almost knocking him back down. "I love you," he said softly into Red's neck.
Red held onto him a little tighter "I love you too". Then they both looked at each other and laughed, encouraging the other.
Blue leaned into Red kissing him, taking Red by surprise he fell back with Blue above him.
They both laughed again together then Red pulled him back in so he could kiss him again. They both melted in each others embrace and Blue felt a lot more comfortable now he got how he felt off his chest.
They lay there for a while, Red holding Blue grateful to have him.
When Blue got up on his knees "I'm definitely going to shower now" he laughed softly.
"Okay, and then we'll get food" Red smiled. He sat up kissing Blue one more time then smiled softly at his again.
"Jeez, stop being cute" Blue laughed as he got up,
"Sorry, I can't help it when you're just way too lovable" Red laughed, he picked his book back up and began reading again.
Blue showered, having some time alone with his thoughts. He was happy, the happiest he'd been in a long time and he wanted it to stay like this, but he knew he'd eventually have to face his reality at home.
He shook himself out of his thoughts "Not right now, I don't need to worry about that right now, I just need to enjoy myself while I have the time".
Red had stopped reading again and instead had Pikachu and Eevee on the bed with him, he had a Pokémon toy in his hand playing with them while he waited for Blue. He smiled at the Pokémon "You both look as happy as I feel" he said gently, the Pokémon didn't really understand him and he just laughed and continued to play with them.
When Blue finished his shower he dried himself off and out on a pair of his clean shorts, then saw Red's shirt he was wearing yesterday and once again decided he'd wear it.
He came out of the bathroom pretty pleased with himself.
"You know you could just ask and I'll let you wear one of my clean shirts"
"No thanks, this one's better" Blue grinned throwing himself back onto the bed making Eevee jump up,
"Sorry buddy" he laughed while picking Eevee up and placing him onto his chest petting him,
Red rolled his eyes and laughed too.
