"Hahaha, 'yun na nga eh. Mabuti nalang tinanggap ka pa," pagmumura kong sabi kay Caspian habang hinihiwa ang steak. We were in a restaurant. We used to eat a lot here. 

"Yeah, I guess if it wasn't for you, I would be single forever...forever just looking at the two women I've ever loved," he gave me a genuine look before holding my hand. Thank God, I fixed two broken hearts, longing for each other. 

"Darling? I believe that engineer Krys likes you. Those eyes were like mine years ago,"

"Cruel, I'm married and I only love Kenneth. " I painfully replied to his statement. I knew that. I've been observing him for a long time now. That was one of the reason why I'm avoiding him. My main reason why I'm avoiding him was because I didn't want to fight with my husband just for a mere admiration from someone. For freak's sake I am married. I love him and only him. Nothing will ever change that. 

"So, did he contact you already?" he initiated while munching the steak. When will he get that you eat first before talking? Nagmumura na naman siya. 

"Not a single call and a one word message. Alexa said something about healing. I guess we all need it but I honestly don't know how long does he need. Would this healing take weeks? Months?" I instantly closed my eyes. The feeling was there again. It hurts. 

"Weeks. Don't worry. We're here for you. Kana, Kana. Hey, I learned this when I went to Bohol. Bahu kuno kag pipi. It means, you are so pretty," napabuntong-hininga ako sa gulat at napakamot sa ulo bago kumunot ang noo ko. 

"Why are you easily fooled? You know what's pipi right? I can't believe you forgot the journal notebook. My aunt specifically wrote that word so you won't be fooled by the locals. Hahay gyud nimo. Tara na nga," tumayo ako tsaka sinenyasan ang waiter ngunit ngumiti lang siya at tinuro si Caspian. Na gets ko naman kaya nag walk out nalang din ako. 

"Where are we going next?" he hooked his arm on mine as we both walked towards our cars. 

"Let's give your wife a surprise visit. You know her favorite foods right?" I gave him a threatening glare to make sure he would remember it because I know that he's a forgetful person. But I guess he changed when he married Alexa. Gosh, that girl never forgets things. She lists things. 

While we were approaching her Knox's company, I saw two familiar figures which made my blood boil. It was like I was filled with water and the heat of the sun is heating me up. Nicole was smiling awkwardly in front of a stiff and red eyed Kenneth. Ano naman kaya ang ginagawa nila?

Nag park kami ni Caspian sa tabi at nakita ko pa sa gilig na sabay silang lumingon sa may kalayuan sa'min. Though I was a bit far from Caspian, he stood there and waited for me as we walked towards them, together, looking so classy and flashy. Dapat talaga ganoon. Gusto mo ng run way Nicole? Gusto ko 'yon!

"Lower your dagger eyes. They're disturbed," Caspian laughed, half-heartedly. Sus, ang peke nang tawa niya, mas nakakadisturbo dahil papalapit na kami at dinig na dinig nila ang boses niya. Nakakaloka ang pating. 

"Oh they should be. This is the right time na siguro. My mother taught me to always put things back where I found it. So I'm about to put her back to her place. Sa pagkakaalam ko, ako dapat ang nasa gilid ng asawa ko," hinarang niya ang kamay niya na aakmang tatakas ako at bubugbugin si Nicole. Tumama ang braso niya sa baba ko at inismiran ko kaagad siya. Anshaket.
