I knew that I pissed him off. We were a little immature. Well, I was the immature one. I shouldn't have pushed him off the edge. To offend him was not my intention. I guess I was blinded by annoyance and jealousy.
I sighed and went to my favorite cafe. I spent buying snacks mostly for him. He loved fruit milk tea in a bottle and I just had to buy 4 different bottles of it and his all time favorite cake. Pinagbabawalan na ako ng mga junk foods. I'm still working on resisting my favorite snacks.
"I'm so broke, right now. Lord, please pour money on my wallet," I silently prayed upon opening my wallet. This would be one of my New Year's resolution.
"thank you," I told the cashier before she handed me the bag. I carried it and looked up at the night sky. The sky was clearer. I could see the stars twinkling a little brightly that my eyes could reflect them.
Strangers looked at me with amusement in their eyes. I bet they couldn't believe a college girl could do such an embarassing thing. Well, I am not embarassed of my empty wallet. I needed money kaya.
I chatted Alianora and asked if Kenneth was there but she said na wala raw. I wasn't sure where he was headed but I have a slight clue. When we stumbled to an uncertain place after our school trip, we decided to go back there. Therefore, we made it as our secret meeting place.
It was an enormous garden with wooden bridge. The water was clean and I believe that people who passed by there made the bridge a wishing bridge. Far from the garden was a large house. Like a boarding house or something.
When I arrived there, I saw no one which made me a little dissapointed. I was going to go back when I heard something. I hope that no ghost or something is here with me. I hope that no couple's here doing some shit. Let's hope.
As a Filipino, I began praying and calling out the name of the Lord to protect me from any form of evil. I grasped both my hands together as I silently walked. I was standing on the ground, not daring to walk around just to make sure that I was safe. Hindi ako katulad sa mga horror movies.
I called his number but he wasn't answering. So, I tried to threaten him that if he really won't answer it for the 6th time, I would find another guy.
It's half past 7 already.
"Jusko Alejandro kung nasa'n kaman, punta kana rito bebe ko," I said a little loud. After a few minutes, I decided to leave when I saw a figure. The moon shone on his face and you could see his face brightly. It was as if his eyes were glistening.
