Ako nalang ang natira sa silid niya habang si Kenneth naka duty at si Nicole, I don't know where she is and I don't care. 

"Happy birthday baby," bulong ko habang nakaupo sa gilid niya. Ang daming sinasabi ng doktor at tanging si Kenneth lang ang may mas alam. According to the surgeon, Logan may have a brain damage and when he wakes up, he may develop some cognitive, perceptual, behavorial or physical disabilities due to the damage they caused. That's if he wakes up. 

They said that they were still observing him and his vitals and if he would not wake up today or tomorrow, they would consider him in coma. They're ensuring that blood and oxygen are flowing properly to the brain and that the blood pressure is controlled. 

He has undergone both MRI and CT scans twice during his stay here. Feeling ko nga, namamatay na ang utak ko sa kakaisip sa mga posibleng mangyari sa kaniya. Halata naman na hindi ko na kaya pero pinipilit ko parin ang sarili ko. 

Nabwebwesit ako kay Kenneth. Naiintindihan ko naman na may duty siya pero sa sitwasyon ko ngayon, ayos lang naman kung hinihiling kong makasama siya, na rito lang siya sa tabi ko pagka't kailangan ko siya. 

"Gising kana diyan. Diba sabi mo na gagawa pa tayo ng rocket? Diba magdo-donate kapa ng mga luma mong libro? Pangako anak, makakamit natin ang hustisya at makukulong silang lahat. Kaya dapat pag-gising ko, gising kana ah? Mahal na mahal kita," sumulyap pa ako bago humiga sa sopa at natulog. 

Paggising ko ay doon ko nalang namalayan na wala na ako sa ospital. Naka higa ako sa kama namin. Tiningnan ko naman ang sarili at nakitang nakabihis pangtulog. I stopped myself from standing up when I felt like my surroundings were going in circles. 

It took me a while before I went downstairs to see Kenneth cooking pero ba't ang dami? 

"Why are you cooking all of this?" I asked while observing him. His clothes were crumpled and his hair was a little messy. I could not remember anything. 

"Uhm...Nicole moved in. She'll be staying until Logan wakes—"

"Unsay giingon nimo? Balika gud! Na piste na!" I exclaimed right when I saw Nicole walking towards us, bagong ligo. I looked at her before I looked back at Kenneth and so my heart crushed. Why was I thinking of something?

"Why didn't you tell me at ba't parati nalang kayo magkasama ah? Close? Bespren, ganun?" malupitan na sunod-sunod na tanong ko pa bago inismiran ang babae. 

"Ikaw, may bahay ka diba? Ba't ayaw mong tumira doon?" natigilan siya sa tanong ko at masama akong tiningnan. 

"I wanted to be with my family—"

"We are not your family!" I shouted at her but she just laughed and gave me a myschievous smile. 

"I'm not referring to you," she then pointed at Kenneth before sitting down at my spot. Oh this is never happening. 

"You're very kind, thank you," she was about to hold his hands but I grabbed her hand and slapped her face with it before dragging him to the living room. I heard her mutter a curse but I ignored her.
