"pwede ba Nicole? Nakakairita ka na, ah. Gago, amp. Ba't ka pa nagpakita?" iritang sabi ko sa kaniya. 

Literal kong sinuntok ang pinto at agad namang nagsitinginan ang lahat. Lumabas ako para sundan si Logan pero ang bwesit na literal na parasite, sunod lang nang sunod. 

"Do you understand Filipino or do I really have to switch languages? You are bothersome, you stupid ignorant person. Why do you have to show up now?" 'yan, I translated it already kahit naiintindihan niya naman. 

"I just wan—"

"Nobody cares, Nicole." she was about to follow me when I glared at her and got inside the car where Logan was at, crying. 

I drove swiftly, casually stealing glances at him. I couldn't comfort him at this time kasi nasa sasakyan pa kami pero kinakausap ko parin. Agad kong tinawagan si Kana noong hindi na talaga niya ako kinausap. 

"Babe?" I called out, hoping na hindi siya busy. Baka may meeting o klase siya ngayon. 

"Hey babe, sorry. I just had to finish greeting the students goodbye. Is there something wrong?" she asked, worriedly. 

"I-I'll tell you later. Kailan ka uuwi?" I glanced at Logan who was quietly crying, curled up into a ball. 

"Mga 3:30 pm pag ma finish ko 'to, early but I can do it at home, why?"

"Mom's still borrowing Bentley kaya uuwi tayo sa bahay natin. I need your help," I finally told her. I don't think I could explain properly without her. 

Logan knew na hindi talaga si Kana ang ina niya pero he saw her as his mom already, and no one else but Kana. I'm scared na baka ma severe ang ties nila. I didn't want that to happen. 

She cut the line after I told her to go home. I was left in my own world again. Dealing with Logan wasn't easy anymore. I wished he could stay as a kid, forever. Now I'm worried that Bentley would be like him, like a teenager. 

"Dad?" he called out and I instantly snapped my head at him. 

"How are you? Look, I know that everything is very confusing and painful but I swear, baby, I'm going to solve it, alright? I'm going to answer all of your questions. Kung galit ka sa'kin, okay lang. Ilabas mo lang ang—"

"I'm not mad at you daddy...but it hurts, so much...a-and I don't know why," he stuttered and it made me stop the car just to pull him for a hug. 

I let him sit at the front seat while I parked the car on the side before I continued driving. Medyo malapit lang naman ang bahay namin. 

"Mommy and I will help you, okay?

"Dad, my mom's mommy Kana." That was the only thing that he said to me bago kami nakarating sa bahay.
