"Hi Sir!"

[Napatawag ka? May problema ba regarding sa exam mo sa Physics?]

"Wala po, Sir. It's all about Sheen's 18th Birthday,"

[What about it?]

"Can you be her last dance?"

[Gusto ba niya? Baka mamaya mapahiya ako doon.]

"It was a surprise party, actually."

"So are you in a relationship with him?" I tried to calm my voice but it doesn't work! We almost know each other for a couple of years, pero nakuha niya pa 'din magtago sa'min. Well, naitago niya nga sa'kin dati yung relationship ni Ayenn at Kurt-- yung sakanila pa kaya.

"Please, I'll explain." nauutal niyang sabi atsaka hinila kami sa tagong puno, far from our classmates. "Okay, I'll give you five minutes to explain." utos ko pa, dahilan para magsimula na siyang magsalita.

"So, Jeremie and I are in a relationship last month. Actually, first monthsary namin ngayon at--" I immediately stopped her from talking. It's been a month simula noong naging sila?

"Did you just say na naging kayo, after your.... 18th Birthday?!" Ayenn asked this time, kahit ako ay naguguluhan. Na-develop ba sila dahil sa last dance niya si Jeremie? Oh my fucking god, I really need to know the whole story.

"Yeah, but before that nagpaparamdam na siya sa'kin until he confessed." Damn! I can't believe this is all happening. Akala ko ba hindi siya ang type ni Jeremie? "But I tried to ignore his first confession, not until my surprise birthday celebration came." dugtong pa niya.

Tahimik kaming nakikinig sa mga binibitawan na salita niya. It really fucking shocked me! "Then, he confessed again at doon ko 'din nalaman sa sarili ko na gusto ko pa 'din siya. Sorry, I didn't wanted to hide it pero Jeremie's image is more important."

What the fuck?! Jeremie's image?! Sa tingin ba niya we will ruin someone's reputation? I mean we're not like that! "Bullshit," singhal ko pa atsaka tumingin sakanya. She really looked nervous, kahit kailan talaga hindi siya marunong magtago ng sikreto.

"I'm sorry, but please.... I'm begging you.... For Jeremie's image..... Please keep it first," pagmamakaawa niya pa. Ngayon ko lang ata nakita si Sheen na ganito, she really loves him. Konting sumbat nalang at maiiyak na siya and I fucking hate it when she's crying-- napaka-pabebe.

I slowly tapped her shoulder. "It's okay, Sheen. We got your back," kahit kailan talaga, napakaiyakin niya. She's on her legal age pero umiiyak pa din siya sa mga ganyang bagay.

"Bakit ka kasi galit?" hindi na niya mapigilan yung iyak niya at humagulgol pa lalo. "Tahan na, baka marinig nila tayo." lumapit na 'din si Ayenn sa'min saka niya binigyan ng mahigpit na yakap si Sheen.

"Kayo kasi eh, bakit ang harsh niyo magsalit." umiiyak pa din siya hanggang ngayon. "Isn't it obvious? Sobrang lumalayo ka sa'min," I defend myself to her, which is basically right. Bakit niya kasi kailangan itago? I hate you sagad, girl.

Mas lalo pa siyang naiyak. "Basta don't do it again, or else our friendship is over?" pagbibiro ko pa saka sumali sa pagyakap ni Ayenn.
