The funeral came and went. Not quite the Catholic version Lexi was used to, but she knew Reverend Hawthorne had done an incredible job. Anyone would have said that it was one of the most beautifully profound services they had ever been to.

She was replaying in her mind the day and all the personal touches. Reverend Hawthorne completely turned grief on its head. The ceremony became a full-blown celebration, reflecting on the highlights of Susannah's life, and the moments shared together.

The funeral home had an impressive chapel with its beautiful stained-glass windows. Susannah's favorite song was being played on the piano by a lovely young lady. The front stage was decorated with pink carnations and red roses. Everyone in the congregation had been holding lit white candles as Reverend Hawthorne opened with a prayer.

"Dear Father, there is a season and time for everything in this world. Today you have granted us a chance to celebrate the life of our loved one, and we want to say thank you. Even though we are finding it hard to accept what has happened, we know that everything works out together for good. God, give us the peace that surpasses all understanding as we start this funeral program. Give us the strength to share the beautiful moments that we shared with the departed, in Jesus's name, we pray. Amen."

After the formal ceremony, everyone had followed Reverend Hawthorne and the Pallbearers outside and into the graveyard. Where they watched as Susannah's body was laid into the ground. Instead of dirt, her mother tossed the first rose onto Susannah's casket to pay her final respects. Reverend Hawthorne read the Twenty-Third Psalm.

"The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul. He guides me in the path of righteousness for His name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the Lord - forever."

Coming back to the moment, Lexi found herself standing at the island in her kitchen. She knew that neither good memories, nor time was going to heal this awful feeling in her gut. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't get rid of this sickening feeling that Susannah was not in Heaven.

As she was searching through her purse for an aspirin to dull the pain in her head. A piece of paper fell onto her kitchen floor. Picking it up, she remembered the ticket Tamara had given her. Her mind was so forgetful, and the days seemed to pass by faster than a runway model parading down the catwalk. Lexi had forgotten all about it.

The Celestial Language of the Spirit World - Tuesday at 7:00 pm. That's tonight.

Looking at the clock and grabbing her car keys she decided to drive to the address printed on the ticket. If she hurried, she'd make it.
