The morning after the soul retrieval, Tamara was putting away the items she had brought with her to Reverend Hawthorne's.

Talking to her spirit guides, she said, Amazing, just amazing!

The feeling one has when being near an omnipresence supernatural spirit — when you are in the grace of pure love and light. Where time seems to stand still, and nothing matters on Earth. All the cares of the world; money, fame, success, or as simple as what to make for dinner. . . disappears.

A sacred moment when you are in the presence of a higher power and the belief in the spirit world becomes your truth.

I wish everyone could feel what I feel. Know what I know. See and hear what I do. How privileged it is to be a part of another person's life journey; a journey that can lead down a specific course of actions just because of a dream. A dream that was so real that it could change a person's life, creating a paradigm shift in what that person believes.

So many times, I ask myself why. Why me?

As in, why did Lexi have a dream that her sister's soul was not in Heaven and was being tormented? Why did she call me?

Coincidence? I think not.

At that moment she remembered a passage in the Bible: Matthew 7:7

Ask, and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. Everyone who asks receives; everyone who searches finds; everyone who knocks will have the door opened. Is there anyone among you who would give his son a stone when he asked for bread? Or would hand him a snake when he asked for a fish? If you, then, evil as you are, know how to give your children what is good, how much more will your Father in Heaven give things to those that ask him!

My angels and guides, it makes so much sense to me now — the journey of a soul.

As an empath, I feel a tenth of the anguishing pain that a client is feeling. It doesn't matter if it is their pain or the pain they are feeling due to a loved one.

I can feel the frustration and anger my client may have towards God and the world, especially when they cannot do anything about it.

I find it hard to explain to my clients when they are praying for someone other than themselves. That no matter how hard they pray. The person who they are praying for has all the control over their own life. It is always that person's life path. The choices they make while learning their life lessons and accomplishing their purpose does not always have a one-hundred-year contract attached to it. It is that person's contract with God.

Thank you for teaching me that it is far better to pray for God's will to be done for the benefit of that soul's journey through life and death. And that every person's life has a butterfly effect. Each action he or she does, triggers the response of those around them.

Thank you for teaching me that it is considered selfish to pray for a specific outcome for another soul.

Thank you for teaching me that there is nothing our prayers should do for another soul, other than to enhance their journey.

Thank you for teaching me that if I pray for a specific outcome, and it is not what the other person or soul wishes, wants, desires, or dreamed of manifesting. Then I am creating a negative energy force for them and creating their manifestation energy to be pulled into two different directions, creating disharmony for both of us.

Thank you for giving me this example. That when I am asked to pray for someone, that I can say something like this. God, please help, _________, for whatever is best for them. Allowing your love-light energy to emanate to them, so that they can use it for the beneficial purpose of fulfilling their life lessons and life purpose. Thank you and Amen.

Thank you for teaching me to use the word Amen as an ending word. Explaining to me that it is needed to let the spirit know that I have completed my prayer. A way to say good-bye, thank you, or something of that nature. That unless I use an ending word, the spirit is still listening and waiting to do what I requested. It is reminding me that the language of spirit is literal. And, without using an ending word, I did not end the conversation I started.

Thank you for teaching me that it is only my outcome that I can pray for. I know this to be true because when a client asks me about one of their loved ones. I can only answer if they have permission from the other person. BUT even then, it is very limited to what I can get. It is nothing like when the person is right in front of me.

I love how in the Bible it says, 'Ask, and you shall receive,' without limiting me for what I can ask for. And if I pray at the same time with another person, then the power of two is amplified. We are creating the outcome that much quicker.

Tamara sat quietly for a moment, and prayed up to God, and asked, what is my next step in helping Lexi?

The answer that came back was; Give her time, in a few days she will call you.

With that answer, Tamara gave thanks and went about her day. For other souls needed her help.
