What happens when two girls obsessed with Lord of the Rings suddenly find themselves in Middle Earth? Well, all hell breaks loose. Not only do they now have to help the members of the fellowship on their journey without sending the storyline spirall...
Gandalf arrived on the scene just as Boromir headed for the citadel to arm up. He already had weapons and technically armour on but it was light. He arranged for heavier armour and made quick work of suiting up while Karma and I did the same, summoning armour for ourselves. Karma saw the set I summoned and went for the same thing except in a bright purple metallic that made me shake my head.
"You're gonna make yourself a target in that" I laughed and she struck a pose.
"But a sexy target nonetheless" she said and I giggled.

As we finished we heard Boromir re-emerge fully clad in metal and looking the part of the leader he was. Meanwhile Denethor has perched himself on his throne and had been rather quiet the whole time. I was rather thankful for that but didn't appreciate the glares he occasionally shot in my direction.
"Are you ready?" Boromir asked me and I nodded and admired his armour, the tree of Gondor etched into the breastplate.
"You look amazing" I complimented him and he grinned.
"I could say the same to you. We must move, the men know their positions. The civilians are safe within the upper residences. We must go to the gate, that is where the fighting will be at its worst" he told me and I nodded as I tied my hair up to keep it out of the way.
"I'll stay up on the outer walls. They will breach those too, it's best if I'm there to provide backup" said Karma.
"Damn, I should have asked you to teach me how to use a gun before we got here" I said and she grinned.
"Funny you should mention that, while we waited for you at Isengard I watched video after video on how to operate a machine gun" she said proudly and my mouth hung open as Boromir tried to figure out what was going on.
"You didn't!" I exclaimed grinning from ear to ear.
"Oh I did" she laughed.
"What is a machine gun?" Asked Boromir and I just shook my head.
"Don't worry about it, just wait for the noise, you'll see" I told him and he nodded and then led us out to where men waited with our horses.
"Where shall we make our stand?" Asked Gandalf as soon as we left the building.
"To the gate. We need to make sure we stop the army from getting to the upper levels of the city" said Boromir and Gandalf nodded and rode off on Shadowfax.
"And where should I go?" Asked Pippin.
"You come with me. I'll keep an eye on you" said karma as she mounted her horse and then pulled him up to join her.
Boromir mounted his own steed and I shook my head as the reigns of my own were offered to me. I walked to Boromir and motioned for him to help me mount his horse and he shot me a look of confusion.
