What happens when two girls obsessed with Lord of the Rings suddenly find themselves in Middle Earth? Well, all hell breaks loose. Not only do they now have to help the members of the fellowship on their journey without sending the storyline spirall...
It had been little over a month since the coronation and we still hadn't told our friends our baby news yet, partly because we were waiting to tell Denethor when he seemed up to talking to me and partly because having a secret only we (and Karma) knew about was kinda fun and exciting. We had told them of our engagement though so at least we weren't keeping it all to ourselves. Boromir and his brother had begun making small visits to their father over the last few weeks and slowly he was becoming less and less hostile. He had been forcibly retired from the position of Steward due to his actions but Aragorn didn't want to imprison him, although the old man had basically imprisoned himself in his chambers even after being given his freedom. On the plus side my morning sickness had abated and so it was a little easier to hide the pregnancy for now, at least until I began gaining weight. Not gonna lie, you'd think I was eating for 5 with how much food I was devouring now that I could keep it down.
Since Aragorn's rise to the throne I had claimed the title of advisor to the throne and so far I was making huge strides in eradicating poverty and attaining women's rights, which under Denethor's rule had been abysmal. The fields outside the walls were being cleared for farming and greenhouses were slowly being built, but it was surprisingly exhausting summoning materials, especially when I could only summon what I could carry and honestly I was really pushing my strength more than I should have been in my condition. More than that, women were now able to train and join the guard! Eowyn was insanely grateful for that particular win but it wasn't hard with Aragorn in charge. He was, after all, a great man. Karma had also decided to stall her leave for Isengard until after I'd had this baby and had been filling her time with learning as much about childbirth and pregnancy as possible, one day she may even become the most knowledgeable midwife in all of middle earth.
I dressed in what had become my usual attire of late and tried to mentally prepare myself...today Boromir was taking me to see his father and tell him we were to be married in less than a week! Not only that but also that I was with child, which would no doubt infuriate him, but Boromir seemed to think otherwise.

"Are you ready?" Asked Boromir from our bedroom door as he slid in, fully kitted in armour from a morning of training with the troops.
"Do we have to tell him? Can't we just elope and then when I have the baby we can raise it into the air at the peak of Mina's Tirith all Lion King style and shout SURPRISE?" I suggested and Boromir shook his head.
"I cannot believe you made me watch that" he muttered with a hint of amusement.
"I had to make sure you got my references" I shrugged.
"We had to pause it for 20 minutes while you sobbed about the death of a pretend lion" he laughed and I threw a pillow at him.
"Hey, everyone cries at that part. EVERYONE! Ya hear?" I shouted and he just laughed at my outburst.
He ushered me from the room and we made our way to Denethor's lair. It was almost at the opposite end of the palace and by the time we reached his door my feet were already sore from the walking. I let Boromir enter first before taking a large breath and following. It looked as though Faramir was here already too and while he gave me a friendly smile, his father did not.
