Alice's POV.

The council members discussed in low voices about whether they should allow Karma and I to accompany them and they sure were taking their sweet ass time about it. I mean how is it even a decision? Two girls with prophetic knowledge willing to risk their lives in exchange for literally nothing but the thrill of adventure? Of course they should let us go! All this waiting was starting to make me seriously hungry. As I pondered what I could be eating if I were at home I shrugged off my robe and vaguely noticed Karma do the same, it was beginning to get quite warm.

As if reading my mind she mumbled "I could really go for a mars bar right now".

I was about to agree when her eyes noticeably widened in shock and awe. She slowly raised her hand and displayed a mars bar that had seemingly appeared from nowhere! I rapidly began going through explanations in my head for how this chocolatey miracle could have occurred but came up with zilch. Apparently it was just summoned by Karma's will?

"That is amazing" I said in awe and excitement.
Karma unwrapped the mars bar and bit into it, letting out a moan of ecstasy that caught a suspicious and troubled looking council. They eyed the chocolate, Karma devouring it and then me, and I assumed I probably looked pretty ecstatic.

"What are you ladies up to now?" Asked Gandalf with two parts curiosity and one part suspicion.

"Oh not much, we just sorta discovered that we can SUMMON THINGS OUT OF THIN AIR BITCHES!" I shouted excitedly while Karma attempted not to choke on her snack.
I focused hard on wanting a toffee apple and within a second it had appeared in my outstretched hand, glorious and red and hopefully as delicious as it looked. A few of the crowed "woah'd" and another few gasped but overall I was just happy to have something to eat.

"These lasses are witches!" accused Gimli suddenly.

"I wouldn't say that, I'd just call it talented" smiled Karma.

"Liars! That be dark magic, mark my words" Gimli said in warning to the others.

"So you think we're using our dark powers...to produce sweets?" I asked him with a shrug and a dismissive laugh.

"That could be of great use actually. If they truely can materialise what they desire then we need not worry about starvation or loss of weapons on our journey" Gandalf pointed out wisely so I smiled at him and handed him his very own toffee apple that he accepted a little quizzically but ultimately thanked me.

"They may still be a threat. Not mention they are a little...odd" said Legolas struggling for a suitable word.

I poked my, now thoroughly red stained, tongue out at him in response while Karma gave a slightly hurt giggle and said, "Damn blondie, I thought you were the nice one in the group. That stung, that stung deep" she finished with a dramatic clutch to her heart and Legolas admittedly looked a little guilty.

"Regardless of their witchcraft, this is an expedition for warriors, for men. Look at these frail creatures, they will surely fall behind or become burdensome. We can't afford any distractions" said Boromir and my attention immediately honed in on him so much so that I saw him glance away uncomfortably.

"You're worried I'll distract you? In what way am I distracting Boromir, please share with the group. Surely you're not implying that men such as you could be distracted from their mission by little old me right? I expected a man of your stock to have a much stronger will" I said in a calm and steady voice while keeping my eyes locked on him firmly, somewhat enjoying the way he squirmed uncomfortably under my gaze.

"Women don't belong on a dangerous quest, they belong at home bearing sons" he said with finality but he wouldn't make eye contact when he said it.
