Okay guys, this is it! The last official chapter 😁 you've all been wonderful and I thank every single one of you for sticking with me throughout it all. On that note I do want to give a very big thank you to crystal38466. You have been so helpful and supportive during some of my hardest times and I'm really very grateful to you 😊 you have no idea how much of an impact you've made and honestly you're in part responsible for the continuation of this story so thank you, for everything 💛 Anyway, I just wanted to say my piece and now that I have, ON WITH THE STORY!!!Time was ticking on my pregnancy by this point and I was due any day now. Karma had studied so much that she was semi-confident in her ability to deliver my baby safely. We had no idea whether it was a boy or a girl because she hadn't quite been able to materialise something to large as a sonogram machine so all we'd been able to do was check the heartbeat through stethoscope and complete other such checkups. She'd given me the recommended pregnancy vaccines and I'd taken them happily, knowing that my child would now be the most vaccinated child in middle earth and I wouldn't have to worry about him dying of preventable diseases. But now that the day was so close I was torn between stressing over the fear of birth and the desperate need to have this child OUT OF ME!
On the plus side our lovely Eowyn and my brother in law had finally married. It had been such a beautiful wedding and they'd held it at, a now under repair, Osgiliath. Faramir had made it clear that once it was suitable for living again he intended to live there, along with a great many citizens who eagerly awaited its repair. Another good piece of news was that Denethor, following my own marriage to his son, had actually made efforts to be civil and dare I say even nice to me. He had even dug up the cradle Boromir and Faramir had used as babies and gifted it to us in preparation for his grandchild. I had even let him feel the baby kicking and he'd teared up, which I found amusing because both Boromir and Faramir had the same reactions when they'd first felt it.
"Hey fatty, got any plans for tonight?" Asked Karma jokingly while I ate lunch with Boromir, his brother, Eowyn and Aragorn. Arwen was currently visiting her father in Rivendell and we decided to keep Aragorn company in her absence.
"Do we have any plans?" I asked Boromir.
"Sleep?" He responded with a sheepish grin.
I nodded and turned back to Karma, saying "I guess not, why?"
"Wanna have a sleepover? Like old times?" Asked Karma and I snorted.
"Uh, sure. But just to be clear, we aren't drinking like we did during old times right?" I giggled as I recalled 17yr old me playing sing star while standing on a table after a few too many shots.
"Obviously not" she laughed as she gestured to my huge belly which now rested against the table in my effort to get closer to my food and avoid spilling it down my front.
"But we ARE playing sing star right?" I asked and she nodded.
"Can I come?" Asked Eowyn, looking very interested in our plans despite not understanding exactly what she was getting herself into.
"Well duh! You're one of us now. You don't get to escape the shenanigans" Karma told her and I laughed.
"Well you girls have fun okay" said Faramir with a smile.
"And take it easy" added Boromir, placing a kiss on my cheek as he stood to get back to the troops.
"And do not burn the place down" Aragorn piped up with a smirk.
"We aren't promising anything" shrugged Karma with a wicked smile.
I whispered a quick "I love you" to Boromir before he left and he returned it before promising to drop by to say goodnight later. I finished up my food and then stood with a really loud groan that caught the attention of everyone still at the table.
