Jaemin tightened his grip onto the sofa he was sitting on. His eyes were sending death glares towards the spot where Jeno just finished making out with that blonde boy who won instead of him last night. He flinched a bit at the touch of a tongue that suddenly licked his neck, because he forgot he was surrounded by people.
Everything suddenly felt like a scene from a movie. The movements made by people were in slow-motion, the dust was floating in the air in different colors because of the lights and he suddenly felt way too warm. And that random girl that was sitting way too close to him didn't help him at all.
Sighing in annoyance, Jaemin pushed her away, making the slim girl fall on her back. A smirk formed her lips, but the raven haired male wasn't in the mood.
"Find yourself someone else for the night." He hissed at her as he stood up from the sofa and stretched his arms a bit. His eyes got back on the place where his friend was sitting, all flushed for some reason, with the other blushing guy next to him.
Ignoring the stranger who was trying to make him come back to her, Jaemin made his way through the people that walked around the room. Jeno immediately spotted him and the usual annoying smile formed his lips. Renjun looked in his way as well, and the glare he sent towards him, amused Jaemin.
"Where were you?" Jeno asked in a hoarse voice.
"That's none of your business." The raven haired young man replied coldly, his gaze falling on the small figure of Renjun. "You're racing tonight, right?"
"It's not decided yet, but I'm thinking of racing." Renjun replied and blinked softly twice. That small act made Jaemin feel a bit anxious for some reason. He wanted to provoke him to a race, but for some reason, losing again would destroy his reputation badly. "Why?" The blonde male asked him softly, a small smirk forming his wet lips. "Are you whiling to lose again or something?"
Jaemin ignored the snort that came from Jeno and he only kept his cold look on. He wanted to hurt that guy so bad, so he wouldn't be able to race again, but he wasn't such a monster so that thought would better leave his brain.
"Just because I lost once that doesn't mean I'll lose to you again, shortie." The proud smile from Renjun's face disappeared so quick that Jaemin almost didn't observe it. It was him now who was the smirking one while he crossed his arms over his chest. "You're an interesting guy, you know?" The taller told him as he pushed Jeno away so he'll have some space left on the sofa too.
As he sat down, Renjun's thigh touched his and Jeno hugged his shoulders. But Jaemin ignored the older and leaned closer to the blonde guy who was taken aback by his action.
"I'm curious..." He started, his eyes drifting from those dark eyes on Renjun's lips that looked inviting. Then their eyes met again. "What makes you so special huh?"
"Just because I know how to drive a car that doesn't mean I'm special."
A chuckle stopped Renjun from continuing. Jaemin looked behind and saw a familiar face, who was looking down at them.
"Honey, if Jaemin Na tells you you're special, then you should shut up." Taeyong said and surrounded the sofa until he was standing in front of them. "I'm glad I found you to be honest, Ten was giving me a hard time." The older continued as he looked at Renjun. "Follow me, you can chat with them later."
Renjun glanced at the two friends once, before he stood up and followed Taeyong. They soon disappeared in the crowd, leaving both Jeno and Jaemin silent.
"I told you he's interesting." The brunette chuckled right in his ear which made Jaemin push his face away.
"Did I ever deny this fact though?" He looked at his best friend who was just finishing a drink he left on a small table next to the couch. A smirk formed Jaemin's lips as he held the eye contact with Jeno.
Short chapter this time, but the story is finally back. Sorry for making you wait so much.
