i came back to a tidy & neat home. the inside of my house smelt like amriah's floral perfume.

i shook my head & went into my fridge. a sticky note was placed on the freezer & i ripped it off.

' hey bestt, we ain't do nun but smoke. i made sure everything was good tho. we left to some diner, so when i get back home i'll call you. or text. love youuu xoxo amriah ♡ . '

i put the note back on the fridge & rummaged around inside to get me some food. i was hungrier then a bitch. i hadn't ate all fuckin day, so my stomach was growling.

i pulled out some vegan meat, veggies, & some potatoes with pastas.

i walked up to my radio & played some,

the calmness of the song waterfalled throughout the house, & my soul felt at peace. everything was still.

as i chopped up some green peepers ( best kind ) i sang along to the lyrics quietly.

her voice was like honey & it flowed through all the corners of the house. it seeped through the cracks & crevices. her smooth transitions was vocal gold & it liquified like warm butter on a hot biscuit.

i admired erykah's voice & began to place oil in the sizzling hot pan.

1h later

i took my plate that i had prettied up & placed it on a little fold up table in front of my tv.

i went back into the kitchen & grabbed a fork, along with some adobe .

i clicked on the movie,

' brotherly love. ' ( if you don't know that movie, you needa get up on that fr 😗. )

& began to dig in.

a few minutes passed & several dings went off on my phone. not taking my eyes of the movie, i grabbed my phone & held it up to my face for the facial recognition.

i licked some sauce off my thumb & used my pinky to press on the notification.

i ignored his dm & smiled to myself while locking my phone. i picked up my plate, & dropped it in the sink along with the fork.

i ran back to my couch after shutting my lights off , & jumped on the couch putting my blanket over me. i quickly grabbed my remote & scrolled through the list of movies and shit.

i got bored & went on my phone.
