Of course, once we got back to the dorms, Angel made me go through everything that had happened with Alastor no more than three times...in great detail.
"He really said that?" Angel gaped, ceasing to apply yet another coat of nail polish in his astonishment.
I nodded, "Yep, apparently he likes someone,"
"And that someone is you," Angel said, screwing the top back on his nail polish without smudging a single nail. That talent made me want to smack him. I always seemed to smudge at least one nail.
Flopping back on my bed, I sighed, "All signs point to yes."
"Do you want to consult a magic eight ball while you're at it?" Angel blew on his nails to help them dry faster.
"Drugs aren't going to help." I gave him a damning glance.
"No you idiot," He rolled his eyes, "The dumb party gag gift where it looks like an oversized eight ball where you shake it and a little dice inside gives you an answer to your question. Yeesh."
I threw a pillow at my friend, making him yelp and jump out of the line of fire.
"So what do I do about it?" I asked, retrieving my pillow.
"What do you mean what do you do?" Angel chuckled, inspecting his nails for any damage, "If you like him, act on it. But if you don't, let him down easy and don't string him along. It's simple attraction, not rocket science."
