"You've got to be kidding me." I said stunned at what I was looking at. This house looked about as old as me.
Oliver tried to hold a straight looking at me, but it wasn't long before he broke out laughing hysterically. "Hey, I didn't pick this, London did, so don't be mad at me." He defended.
I shook my head getting out of the car angry and shocked with a hint of confusion. I couldn't believe I was going to be staying in a haunted house for god knows how long.
I walked around the car to the back and pooped the trunk. Oliver killed the car getting out the it and coming to me.
If he starts laughing again, I might just lose it.
"I'm a, I'm sorry that we have to stay here for a little while, but let's not make it too miserable than it has to be." He said almost trying to push a reaction out of me.
"What exactly are you saying Oliver? Are you trying to say that I'm going to make it miserable?" I asked trying to trip up on his words.
"No, I'm just saying let's not make this difficult." He repeated himself trying not to fall into my trap.
"And what exactly do you mean by let's?" I said reforming my question testing Oliver to see his next move in this version of chess that I invented. I wanted to see if he could beat me at my own game, even though in my head, it was damn near impossible.
"I mean you and I." He responded quickly not wanting to fall behind and lose track of where we were.
"Or do you mean me?" I asked him wondering how he would talk his way out of corner.
"I mean you and I. We both have a tendency to make things more difficult than they have to be, that's what I mean." He explained rolling his eyes and taking the suitcases out of the trunk. I shit the trunk for him and walked behind him up the porch of this house.
I felt stupid walking behind him, but he was the man he can open the door and be greeted by ghosts. He was in front of the door about the open it, and of corse he had to do something stupid.
He turned the door knob slightly opened it and quickly turned around yelling "Boo!" I completely lost my balance and feel down on the porch.
I'm surprised I didn't tumble down the stairs or better yet fall through the porch.
He started laughing hysterically falling all over himself. I just sat there on the dusty porch of a haunted house looking stupid. I gave him death glare waiting forever for him to notice. Finally after five damn minutes he looked at me, but this only made him laugh even harder.
"Just help me up stupid!" I shouted at him. He grabbed my hand picking me up still laughing quietly to himself.
"I don't know why it's so damn funny." I mumbled to myself aggravated.
"Your face." He told simply.
"What?"
"Your face when I said boo. It was like "oh my god!" He mimicked me only making me want to punch his face.
I shook my head grabbing my suitcase and walking into the house which only surprised me more.
It had old furniture yes, but everything was clean. I guess London had cleaned it up or something. Oliver walked in just as surprised as me.
I shrugged my shoulders giving myself a tour of the place. There were two bedrooms, one bath, a small kitchen, an office, and a cute little living room. I walked outside and walked onto the porch. I walked down the stairs looking at all the flowers and space there was in the back.
