We walked down the grand golden stair case, I with unbreakable posture and him with undoubtable clumsiness. He looked more nervous than anyone I've seen in centuries. He looked around like it was his first day here.

Oh god was it... Oh London your gonna get it...

"Oliver, did London just hire you off the street?" I asked him turning the corner heading for the main hallway. My voice was stern and was probably perceived as a hard ass.

"No, I've been a guard here for about two hundred years now." he said quietly still looking around cluelessly. I stopped and turned around looking at him with confusion. He sure didn't act like he had any experience at all.

"Really? Funny you don't look familiar." I shrugged and started walking again.

"I can be pretty in invisible." he mumbled. I acted like I didn't hear him. I wasn't sure how to answer him, funny I usually always have something to say.

We continued to walk through the long hallway. I peeked into London's office to see if she was there, and of course, she wasn't. We walked into the dinning room and walked through it leading to the kitchen.

The dining room held wood colored tones with dark earthy colors. There were animal heads surrounding the entire space. Dark greens, reds and browns gave a country like warm feeling.

The kitchen however held a more cold feeling. The cabinets were midnight black, along with matching cabinets. The counter top, however, changed the rooms entire atmosphere with a lighter approach. They were white.

I immediately saw London talking to Mona and Jefferson. I heard Jefferson giving Mona a laundry list of orders.

Jefferson mind your own fucking business. Last time I checked, it wasn't your job to give my servants things to do.

To be frank I absolutely hated Jefferson. He was a power hungry, arrogant, not to mention ignorant, main in the ass.

I walked over to them, still having Oliver behind me. Mona was the first to see us coming and she smiled starting with playful tone, "Speak of the devil."

"I thought we weren't supposed to speak of the devil." I retorted in a snarky tone with a sly smirk plastered across my face. Stopping right in front of her. Right behind me was Oliver who starred blankly.

"Good morning, Raven. How'd you sleep?" London said almost giddy like probably waiting for me to gust about how great everything's going between Oliver and I. Unfortunately, for her, that's not what she'd be hearing.

"Barely, but I need to talk to you." I answered yanking her wrist and walking into her office. Of course, Oliver followed me like a scared little puppy dog. I looked at him and ordered, "Oliver, you can wait in the kitchen 'til I come back."

"Your highness, I go where you go, and right now your not in the kitchen." he challenged me more than anyone else combined, all except for Dermot. I couldn't stand it.

"Well, yeah, no dip that's why I said wait for me. Now please just go back in the kitchen."

"Well that's not my job." I looked at him nodding realizing he was right.

"Well, you're fired. I'll hire you back in two minutes, now go in the kitchen." He shook his head and went in the kitchen visibly aggravated.

I turned my head looking at London now, she was about to burst out laughing. "What? What's so funny?" I asked her completely annoyed.

"Pour Oliver." She said barely holding in her laughter. She shook her head and continued, "I see he brings out the "not so classy" of you."

Ignoring the second part of her statement, I confronted her, "I can't believe your making this guy follow me around everywhere. It's quite annoying. He took it seriously. He didn't leave my room last night, he slept on my couch." I said shaking my head beyond intoxicated with frustration.
